Good experience
The store was clean and the people very friendly. Our clerk, was personable at the check- out. We found the products on our list and a few other items.

Good store selling most of the best brands
Some Bosch Products are only available on line. However they do carry most of the brand name tools and at a very competitive price.

Returning Dewalt Combo -Terrible experience
Got to return the combo kit. No body is friendly or apologizing for the defect product. I have called Home depot 1-800 customer service they told me to return any store. But the experience and wait was terrible to get back my refund. I got good deal for the combo and already ordered new one but this place they were not able take the items back. Though this was my first worst experience with HD. I had to waste my two weeks vacation on hold to get new product to the store. Hope this time I won't get defective piece.

Wendy, Rebecca and Project Desk are AWESOME!
We had opened (on line) a new project account that needed to be activated to purchase a couple of thousand $$s of flooring. Wendy, Rebecca and the Project Desk are and were terrific!
But as they tried valiantly (over literally HOURS over two days span) - they were thwarted by the (seemingly) inane system for 'ACTIVATION'. That "system", combined with staff at corporate (whom are to support "ACTIVATION") demonstrated that in fact the corporate folks are / were dysfunctional. All of that made this a nightmare!
Through all of it, Wendy, Becky, et al were wonderfully capable, clear, knowledgeable, reliant and patient, and worked with us throughout the 'ORDEAL"! They were on the phones and website to try to get the activation working, but were getting "less than helpful" actions from Corporate.
I think we got sabotaged by one corporate clerk over the phone who seemingly went off the 'deep-end' when she did not understand what Power Of Attorney is, can do, and does! She cut me off, almost screamed that I was “trying FRAUD”, and hung up!
The "Activation Process" for Project Accounts (more accurately seeming to be an "Activation Avoidance Process") is faulty, it uses inaccurate data from unverified outside sources, and (at least one of) the Corporate Staff was ignorant and hostile to me on the phone as we tried to navigate the validation process as the Power Of Attorney for my nephew.
That evening, the evening help desk at corporate was very clear-headed and extremely helpful. She clearly understood POA, explained how to get copies to needed folks, and everything seemed fine.
The next day, with my nephew and I both present, it still took more than an hour in the store to get the "Activation" to work. And, based on the route the process took, I strongly suspect that the previous day’s confrontation with myself and the Corporate "help person" led her to "mark" the file to make it even more strenuous. While she had accused me of FRAUD, when (acting as Power of Attorney for my nephew), I suspect that she marked the file somehow that I was trying to fraudulently address the questions on the 'panel' used for Activation.
By way of background, those “Activation” questions seem to be based on raw "Public Records" retrievals, which are NOT verified, and simply WEIRD in many cases - for example, "Who in your family was born in 1938", and "What was your apartment number at (this specific address) - which was an address from EIGHTEEN years ago?"!!!
With (likely) the "Corporate 'clerk's" vindictive work the day before, even my nephew WITH HIS PHOTO ID MN Driver's License in hand, standing right there at the counter, was not asked by “The Activation Process” to provide that DL during the "Corporate-directed" Activation process!? Instead, the system (online and orally with an operator at Corporate) persisted in trying (seemingly) outdated and inane questions to verify his identity - WHILE HE WAS THERE WITH HIS MN DL!
Then, after my nephew was able to navigate the process over the phone, and was told that “all is in place and it will be only 10 minutes to complete”, Becky still had problems getting the “Bar Code” needed to place the order.
Honestly, had it NOT been for Wendy and Becky, I would have dropped it all and walked away – simply out of that frustration from “Activation” for the Project Account!
Instead, they got it done, and now I / we will be proceeding on a number of fronts.

Getting Better
During a recent visit to the Burnsville Home Depot I received almost immediate assistance in the plumbing department. I entered the store through the exit door and was greeted by one of the cashiers. I told her I would need assistance in plumbing and she called for someone and he met me there right away. That has never happened in the past at any Home Depot for me! The customer greeter at the main entry door only seems to be able to tell you which isle to go down for the things you are looking for. But apparently the cashiers are more connected to the store associates. My advice: enter through the exit door.

Great Experience
I went in to get the window coverings to keep the heat in and the cold put. I ordered online and picked up from the store. The associate was very helpful and answered all my questions about the product and sizing. In was then quickly checked out.

Very good service!
I was very pleased with the help I received at this location, friendly customer service was provided and made my returns easy. Thank you Home Depot, that's why I return here to purchase my home needs, you usually have everything I need fore my projects and the people you employ are very nice to work with, making our experience even better.

Under staffed and hard to get help or any one to write up your order. Not just Burnsville Location. All Home Depots are getting to be this way.

Great Experience Buying Mirrors
I went to the Burnsville store because inventory showed they had two mirrors I wanted that were on clearance. I walked in the store and was immediately helped by Mark. He walked me to the product I wanted. The boxes were clean and the area organized. Mark helped me carry the mirrors to the cashier and then walked out to load my car for me. I was very impressed.

Happy Home Depot Customer
Our visit to Home Depot was for several different items. We had a return, which was painless. The customer service was quick and friendly. We had paint mixed. The paint associate was friendly and helpful, making several suggestions. We needed new vents and the floor associate made a suggestion as to wear to find the vent that he did not carry. Our cashier was vibrant and friendly. Overall, satisfied!

Great store experience!
I only had a couple things to get, but came across a couple associates that were very, very helpful. They stopped and asked me if I needed anything , which, then I began chatting with them about products. I appreciates it SO much to get the information on the product I was buying!
The check out was awesome! The associates are so friendly, & I appreciate that very much! Thank you!

Assistance with building supplies
I needed to cut some sheetrock in order to fit into my vehicle. The associate was quick to assist and was very efficient. This is why I chose Home Depot over other building supply stores.

Quality products at a quality store
Our new landscape required a new blower/vac to clean the yard for fall. HD had the product I wanted at a fair price. We were able to stop by, get quality advice, and purchase the product with minimum fuss. We have been shopping at this HD store since we moved into the neighborhoon 15 years ago.

2 KNOWLEDGEABLE WOMEN IN PAINT DEPARTMENT
THE 2 WOMEN WORKING IN THE PAINT DEPARTMENT WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ESPECIALLY HELPFUL. IT WAS SO REASSURING AND APPRECIATED TO HAVE QUALITY HELP FROM ASSOCIATES WHO PRIDE THEMSELVES IN FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE.
