Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Yes, the Shakopee store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Registration for kids workshops is now available online and secures your spot at the event. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check availability of the kits.

How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?

Home Depot gift cards are an excellent present for the holidays, housewarming parties, and birthdays. DIYers know these gift cards are fun to give and to receive. If you receive a gift card, you can visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Does The Home Depot Shakopee offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. using The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when you shop eligible Store Pickup items. We will let you know via email or text message when your order is ready at the store. Bring your valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

Picking up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.

Best customer service ever

If you want a thorough person to help you at the pro-desk at the Shakopee MN go to Mark K. You will be impressed at how prompt he is to answer your calls and get your orders through in a timely manner. We cannot say enough good things about Mark's customer service skills. He truly wants the customer to be happy and get what they need for their project.

Friendly service

I was in need of a new fridge and during my visit to the store I had a worker who was amazing and answered all of my questions without making me I was wasting their time. Then the worker that took my phone call to purchase the item was also kind and helpful and priced matched the item. It was nice to have such excellent service.

Available, cheerful, helpful staff!

I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service I received during a recent visit to the Shakopee store. I got help almost immediately upon entering the store. Got exactly what I needed, and didn't have to lift it once. (It was a very heavy item). It was loaded into my car by the employee who had helped me locate it, an he was as cheerful and friendly as he could have possibly been. I look forward to shopping there again soon.

Thoughtful employees

Shopping at hardware stores can be frustrating if you need assistance. This Home Depot tends to have aware, thoughtful employees that look at customers and ask “Can I help you?” This goes a long way in my book and this morning at this Home Depot I was not disappointed in the least. I had several employee interactions that were appreciated.
