Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's on sale for the Spring Deals event in 2026?

Another huge spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you're looking for. Be sure to check out our mulch, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from April 23rd through May 10th and enjoy your new products year-round.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be confident your home is equipped for spring temperature shifts by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. On your home's exterior, examine shingles for damage that can let water seep in. Vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture freezes inside the crevices, you could be dealing with damage.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on May 2, 2026. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cute keepsake box that fits all sorts of tiny treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
