I just spent 90 minutes in Home Depot in what should have been about a 30 minute visit. On THREE occasions, I was herded out of the aisles where I was shopping so that employees could get their own tasks done; flags were waved, steel gates pulled shut & I got to waste time waiting for a chance to return to my shopping or even retrieve my shopping cart. This is while I was trying to sort through countless boxes to select a couple dozen parts for a wiring project—already a confusing & frustrating experience due to the many empty boxes where my small parts were supposed to be found. I had to find unopened boxes elsewhere on the shelves & essentially performing stocking duties for HD. When I needed an employee to open a cage protecting some cable against theft, she seemed genuinely annoyed that I was cutting into her “wandering around time”. Thank goodness I have other options nearby.

I was not sure of what I exactly needed for my project and after some assistance I went home with everything I needed.

Hodan the cashier and Ben (84 years young) who was working in the garden power tool section were both so friendly and helpful! They represented HD very well !

I came to this Home Depot on recommendation from my contractor to purchase an exterior door from Randy. I am wary of recommendations but this visit and interaction and the whole purchasing experience was excellent. I don’t usually write reviews but this experience and interaction with Randy has been a good experience

I went this this Home Depot to get electrical items for a job I was working on and she helped me so easily and quickly.

Always prefer the Burnsville Home Depot to the one in Apple Valley. Staff is always very friendly and helpful and knowledgable.

I had a great shopping experience at this store. Travis as the service desk was very friendly and helpful. He helped me find the products I need. Would definitely recommend this store to anyone.

My primary experience is with the Pro Dept. Dan W. is my man. He’s always easy to work with and understands my needs and always willing to help and let me vent about experiences In other departments. I have honestly gotten to know so many of the associates there and honestly couldn’t be happier with most staff. To be fair, I might drive some of them crazy with past experiences but they always seem to understand and willing to try. I’ve seen so many people come and go but most have remained in my 4-5 years of growing my business. I enjoy talking to them and I often feel they are happy based on the feedback they give me. That’s impressive!!! I also follow the CEO and admire his business philosophy and support for the community. HD (in Burnsville, Mn.) is my favorite box store. I do not have this same experience in other HD.

The staff was nice. However, they refused to price match their online prices for their products.

We had very good service at Home Depot. We brought a new washing ma nine and had it installed.and paint for the bedroom and bathroom. And stuff from the garden center. Home Depot has been very helpful.

After a misunderstanding with another employee. Appliance Specialist Michael Rohan helped us order the correct appliance and answered all of our questions. He was efficient and very helpful. His great attitude made our day end on a better note!

No one in the store wants to help you with anything. You would think if you come in there prepared to spend thousands of dollars they would be interested in having your business.

I have never been in the Burnsville Home Depot but needed to pick up a few things and what a surprise to find the exceptional customer service at your store with Cole Brown. I will be back to this store again because of the great customer experience.

If you need a color match, go see Tammy at Burnsville Home Depot. After multiple trips to the Apple Valley Home Depot ended in disappointment with a color match that wasn't quite right, I went to the Burnsville store since they created the initial sample that was a perfect match. They recreated it perfectly in the gallon. I learned that despite the computer they use, color matching is definitely a talent and Tammy at the Burnsville store has it!

I bought Behr exterior paint today, and the woman at the paint counter was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.

We needed some toilet insides and couldn't believe the hundreds of choices!! Yikes! But, down the plumbing isle comes PJ, with another customer, so we got his attention and he was so kind, and smart and totally helped us figure out what we needed, and he was helping two more people while walking away to another isle. We walked out of that store together saying, "Could you believe That guy??" (In unison !)

2 exceptional employees, both of Somali extraction, make Home Depot Burnsville an exceptional store. While I don’t know their names, the first person is a VERY tall lankey and very strong man who frequently helps with loading. He PROACTIVELY goes out of his way to assist customers with a cheerful attitude. The second individual is a younger woman (wears traditional black clothing) and frequently works self checkout. She again is proactively helpful, fast and efficient an resolving checkout issues.

Jake was extremely helpful during the check out process. When he knew that I was making a business purchase he asked if I would be interested in learning about their commercial Pro Rewards card...in the end the benefits were considerable and I agreed to apply for the card. The process was painless and Jake worked through everything efficiently, he had great knowledge of the process and was very respectful of my time, expediting the process to the extent that he could. I would strongly recommend anyone who makes a lot of purchased at HD, consider speaking with Jake about a commercial card.

This is my 2nd trip to purchase appliances and the employees both times were helpful and knowledgeable.

I waited in flooring/blinds for almost 20min waiting for someone. Bunch of employees didn't know my answer. Paged someone 3 times on speaker system..including an MOD and no one showed up. Lost a sale on over 25 blinds for re-doing my house. Worst experience in retail ever.
