Be confident your home is ready for fall temps by repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that might let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from backing up into your home. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be looking at trouble.

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on October 3rd, 2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a witch candy box! Your little builder can assemble their very own container for sweet treats.
