Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's on sale for the Spring Deals event?

Another great spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you want. Remember to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from April 23rd through May 10th and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature shifts by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage that can let water seep in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter storms. Also, check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at the May Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on May 2nd. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this sweet keepsake box that fits all kinds of tiny treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
