The Home Depot Rental Center at E Lubbock

Jump into your next DIY project with confidence and the right tools for the job. Let The Home Depot E Lubbock Tool Rental Center fill in the gaps in your toolbelt with the items you don't have at home. Rent a tool and bring it back after you're done. In fact, if you found the tools so useful that you didn't want to return them, inquire about buying our retired rental tools. Compared to the new items on our store shelves, they're discounted.

Air Compressors
When renting nail guns and other pneumatic tools, you'll need an air compressor to provide the power. Renting an air compressor means you get the right tools for the job but avoid storing them in your workshop. Choose from an electric or gas air compressor in the size that fits your project. An inflator, cousin to the air compressor, is also perfect for tire inflation or blowing up large Easter inflatables.

Generators
Whether you're running a welder or working in a remote location, you'll probably need to rent a generator. Generators also keep basic electrical appliances running during a power outage. Simplify life during fieldwork or after extreme weather knocks out power to your home.

Load 'N Go Trucks
If you'd like to rent a tool but lack the room in your car to transport it, we can help with that too. Check out our Load 'N Go rental vehicles and rent a truck. No need to worry about taking up valuable space in the driveway with an old pickup for times you need to move something. Just rent a moving truck when you need it and keep your driveway open for grilling or a game of catch.

To get tools and transportation for your moving or DIY project, check out The Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental Center in E Lubbock. Renting the correct tools for the job is important, so let us help. We're here to help you get that project done.

How do I rent tools or trucks?

Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what tools or trucks you can rent. If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You may also read our truck rental or tool rental pages to see if what you need is at your local store. For more on renting tools, read our Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.

How long can I rent tools?

Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY jobs may only require a rental for a few hours, and bigger jobs aren't a problem either. You've got options to rent tools by the month, week, or day, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.

When can I bring the tools back?

You can return the tools early if you finish your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need them longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Can I choose how long to rent a truck?

Rent a truck or moving van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on how long your project is. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you must return it to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the documentation before selecting a truck.

Should I refill the rental truck before I bring it back?

Yes, please fill up the truck before you bring it back. Note the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and fill it with enough gas to match that level. If you don't, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?

No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements.
