I love wood working as a hobby. I don't have big tools or a car to carry things.This depot offers free cuts for all my purchases and the employees are very knowledgeable

requested customer service with questions on lawnmowers. Waited 15 minutes and no one showed up. Employees walked by with heads down. Not very friendly customer service if you ask me.

Normally, I get nervous walking into these big stores for fear of getting overwhelmed by the choices. So I called ahead to inquire about the items on my list, then when I was sure this was the right place, I entered the store asking if a Sales Associate could walk with me, side by side, until I had every item crossed off of my list. I was so lucky to find Tim and Roman who both were so happy to assist and answered all my questions and offered advice for my project. I handed my list over to Roman who led the way down every aisle, crossing the items off my list himself. I shook hands with him once my cart was full and I was done shopping, feeling so thankful and excited about my project. Thanks Home Depot for engaging with excellent staff that made my shopping experience a winner!

I especially like shopping here because I can usually find the product, much cheaper than at the local "neighborhood" hardware stores. The personal service I have found is that if you're just window shopping, they will not bother with you. Here, at least most of the time, the employees seem to be prone to be much friendlier, and at least offer to help. In spite of the service, I can usually find everything I need.

I have always found the employees at the Eden Prairie Home Depot Store to be very helpful and friendly. The paint department has been especially helpful to me. ... I will drive a little farther just to go to Eden Prairie Home Depot because of their service.

I was going to purchase a Makita Drill but the associate that was quickly available to help me quickly and succinctly explained the differences in pricing and voltage of the variety of drills available and saved me allot of time and guesswork on my part. I got the Rigid Brand because it was nearly half the price, the same voltage plus there is a LIFETIME warranty and I have heard from others that the Home Depot warranty program has an excellent service reputation. For my needs this drill will help me with my periodic home needs (I am not a contractor but I just want whatever product I do have in my home to work well when I need it to which is less than what I can say for my other cheep drill that is being given away to charity and maybe I should just throw it away). It pays to get the best quality of product and I am glad the whole package cost me $150 rather than $250 when all is said and done. HomeDepot Rigid brand is the most thoughtfully put together product I saw between all the choices. It was great to also know that if I was a contractor I might have instead purchased Milwaukee brand or the Dewalt.. and glad to know that because I am merely a hobby do it yourselfer that Rigid is definitely the way to go and perhaps even if I was more heavily into improvements that this Rigid will take me a long way! As a woman, reliability and no fuss is a must! We love to be taken care of and I feel taken care of, should anything need repair.
