We purchased a GE dishwasher and its GE logo was missing! :( We double checked the package, inside the dishwasher, and the bag of user manual and it was not there!

I was able to accomplish this project with the help of my local Home Depot in Ellicott City, MD. I couldn't be happier with the outcome!!

Reminded me of the service provided in the early days of service at this store and was somewhat lost for a time. Well trained staff willing to help. Thanks to the use of technology (hand held devices and patient associates willing to take the time to assist). This was lost somewhat for a period of time during the mid 2000’s between the store’s opening in 1997-98 and more recently over the past few years. Again, thank you Olivia and Home Depot Ellicott City, Maryland.

Some months back I met the store manager @ a purchase I made (water heater). I found the Home Depot installer incompetent (failed Howard County inspection). it took the contractor 3 trips. I complained to Home Depot manager via email. Never heard back. Please by no means this reflects on him. He is a friendly competent person. I saw him yesterday or day before when I was ordering the lamps. Perhaps he forgot to respond to email (delivery failed the 1st time but he did get it the 2nd time). Have a nice day. Live and let live ( I am 76 yr old retired guy)

Not their best store. Older, tired, not very big so selection often limited. OK for the basics nearby but if you need specifics, try online or make a trip elsewhere.

The item recently purchased was defective The customer care person was extremely helpful and said that he was sorry to hear Taken back the wine refrigerator without any issues Great voice of the customer

recently purchased dw at EC store. Serial number not legible. Whirlpool refused to register, exceeded return time. Stuck with dishwasher I do not want. Disturbing. No one in store has authority handle problem.

Everything has a layer of dust on it. it is annoying to shop here

We received great service from all their employees including customer service, lift operators, and the cashier. They had in stock what was indicated online. We left happy and in a timely manner with a new grill.

Home Depot could have at least cleaned the tractor before delivery.

Go during normal business hours don’t go in the evening. Staff is cut 2/3 hard to find anybody after 6 PM. Other than that great store. I have three in my area and this is the most friendliest one.

I needed to buy a ceiling fan with lights. A salesperson (a woman named Kris) very kindly not only helped me to pick out a suitable ceiling fan, but used her smart phone to photograph three models and send them to the owner of the house where the fan was needed. Kudos to Kris! Superb service from this Home depot.

My name is Tim. I would like to recognize one individual in particular. His name is Kevin and he is the Plumbing Associate who helped me out tremendously locate all of the materials that I needed to replace my hot water heater tank. He greeted me in the aisle with a smile. Then he asked me what project I was working on and if I needed help with anything. I explained my situation to him regarding my failed hot water heater, which needed to be replaced. I plan to replace the water heater myself. He is very knowledgeable in the plumbing department and together we found every item necessary for me to replace my water heater. He was busy, organizing all the materials in the plumbing aisle, but he stopped immediately to help me. He put the customer first before his own job responsibilities, which I know he needs to complete before he ends his shift. You see, I retired from managing the entire construction process building custom homes for 42 years. I’ve been employed at The Home Depot in Columbia, Maryland. Store #2575 as an Order Fulfillment Associate. (OFA) for 2-1/2 years. I did not share this information at first with Kevin. I wanted to see how he reacted and treated his customers that he comes in contact with on a daily basis. He GOT the GET right! He first GREETED me, then ENGAGED with me, the customer. And THANKED me for shopping at The Home Depot. Great job!! Thank you for always putting the “Customer First” Kevin. Keep up the good work, be safe, and I’ll see you in the aisles. Please write up and post a Bravo card for Kevin, and also present him with a Homer Badge for his excellent customer relation skills. -Tim Trask-

The machine that was delivered leaked when installed. It will take an additional 5 days to get a replacement.

Great store. Employees are helpful and courteous. Associate Jonah from Garden Dept greeted me and assisted me in selecting a Plumbing item even though he was assigned to the Garden Center ! EC MD store has a wide selection of items in which to chose from .

Was shocked that home depot was able to deliver order within the 24 hour promise. Very pleased.

The Ellicott city Home Depot is by far the worst run Home Depot of the many locations that I frequent. I am a loyal Home Depot shopper but this particular store is embarrassing

I needed to return an item And get a replacement.

I was buying a filter which was on sale. When i took it to the register it was ringing up as penny. The head cashier ( Spanish lady, I think her name was Rosa. snatched the filter from the cashier and said she will not sell the item to me. she was extremely rude.

I do not appreciate pan handler’s sitting in the parking lot, trying To exploit customers as they try to enter the store. I tried to point this out to an employee, but he seemed to care less management of the store needs to take action, and ensure customers are not harassed as they enter the store.

I had a couple of items to return early in the new year and after a wait of just seconds, I was helped by a young man in customer service who was very efficient and was also very friendly. I finished my errand in a minute or two with a smile on my face.

Purchased THREE doors here. Between them and EW Nelson it has been an awful experience.

I shop various HD locations in Baltimore and Washington DC, and the Ellicott City store is by far the cleanest and most organized store of them all. And the staff is super friendly and helpful, too!

Everyone I passed was eager to assist and ask whether I needed help or not. Nowadays that is hard to find that kind of hospitality.

The young female employee that helped me find a product went out of her way to help. That is good customer service. She not only looked up the product but went to the aisle and make sure that was the correct product I was looking for. She deserves a raise.

I hope to have my new carpet installed by Thanksgiving. Kent did everything possible to help meet my goal. Kent is an outstanding employee & I wish there were more employees like him in other stores.
