John at the door department is the best！

The guy outside named Adam was extremely friendly and amazing. He was a pleasure the entire time and help me with purchasing my first real Christmas tree. He trimmed it and put it on top of my vehicle. He was pleasant and you definitely have a wonderful employee there. It gets five stars because of Adam.

We went to buy garage opener we were circling Arron’s to find to give us some information I was unhappy initially but that was changed when I met John korz very friendly he take all the time on the world to answer our question he changed everything I think home spot needs more associates like him he even tried to assist us in our question not related to other departments Thx John I definitely comeback to see him

This Home Depot seems to be stocked better than some older Home Depots. They do need to find a way to publicize the fact that we retired military veterans do not get a discount "on certain items," as a Home Depot employee informed me.

This store is helpful and more organized than many Home Depot stores. I’m always able to get the assistance I need with home projects and they have very good item availability.

Helpful staff

The store is generally pretty easy to find stuff that I need. The staff is very helpful and will point in the right direction if they don't know the answer. The customer service has always been A+ every time I go in with a concern.

The store employees were all very helpful today and I found everything that I needed.

It is not a store issue but only one person provided unexpected poor customer service that made me unsatisfied to entire store. Gail, the head of cashier per her, she supposed say "sorry for the inconvenient" to customer, however, she yelled and repeated "I cannot anything w/o box or receipt!" before I explain. she did not want to listen me what is going on. I did not even have time for explanation. I bought defected toilet by Kohler from Ellicott City location on 8/23. Discarded a receipt and box already month ago, after initial installation, found water leaking from somewhere and had to call Handyman twice again to fix and re-install. finally found crack in toilet on 9/23. I knew Home Depot can track my receipt on computer since I paid by Debit Card even though I do not have a receipt at this time. However, she did not want to try and was rude. Her attitude and behavior lower the quality Home Depot. I also wasted my times and spent extra money to fix and re-install because I did not know the toilet was defected. She is required to re-direct and instruct what is the Vision of Home Depot which is to keep the values that are to respect among all people, excellent customer service and giving back to communities ans society.

I had a great experience at this location because of the customer service I received from Beth in the garden department. She gave me amazing guidance related to planting grass seed and identified all the right products to help ensure my efforts are successful. I am immensely grateful for the time she took to help me and the confidence she gave me to approach this previously daunting task. She was extremely pleasant and truly provided top notch customer service. Thank you so much Beth!!!

I like the hours and the customer service is excellent. The selection of plants this year was better than ever and I was able to find everything I needed in one place.

Paul in the Lighting and Light Bulbs dept answered all my questions and provided very helpful insights on a tricky light fixture problem. Thanks also to Tim who was also very helpful. Three other store employees were also very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was at the store for two hours dealing with multiple searches to try to equip a new apartment. The store employees were my key to success that day.

The head Appliance Specialist was extremely knowledgeable and patient giving excellent recommendations for a difficult installation.

Paul in electrical went out of his way to help me

Just moved to this area. Each time I have shopped in this store, the employees were exceptionally helpful and pleasant to work with, something many of us know is hard to come by these days. To me, that makes all the difference as to whether I would want to go back to the store and spend my money there or go to their competitors. Keep up the good work!

The Ellicott City Home Depot has the best customer service! The employees are professional, friendly, and always willing to help a customer in need.

Nice store and friendly associates. I wish they did not allow pets (other than service animals). Most pet owners are inconsiderate of others allergies. Plus they make a mess on the floor and their owners could care less about cleaning it up. I pity the poor associate who has to go around and clean up dog poop. I gave a below average rating because of the prementioned pets in the store.

All members of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were willing to walk me around the store to locate the items I needed. They did not just point me in the general direction that I needed to go.

This store is one I frequent often as I love a store with everything I need except groceries. I can spend hours just looking around and usually do. Staff is very helpful when needed. The associate in the returns department however was a bit rude. Perhaps she just had a hard day but, so did I. I do not plan on returning anything anytime soon so that unpleasantness will be avoided in the future.

Worst customer service. Cashier argue to offer advertised price. Employees are not willing to assist customers

I can easily find the items I need quickly and get assistance if I can't. I find the employees friendly and courteous.
