Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals running?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including grills, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you're prepared to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. Find low prices on tools and storage to kick off your spring cleaning and home repair projects early, before the heat of the summer hits. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. These incredible Spring Deals run from 4/23 through 5/10, so remember to shop before it ends!

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for spring temperature changes by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that can let water seep in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to snow and ice storms. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture freezes inside the crevices, you could be looking at trouble.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
