The Home Depot Rental Center at Gainesville, TX

When you're beginning to dive into a big DIY project, you might not have every tool you need in a garage or shed. That's when you should stop by The Home Depot Gainesville, TX Tool Rental Center.

Tool Rental
Our tool rental choices expand your toolbox with the precise tools you require to complete the job. It's not necessary to invest in a specialized tool when you're not using it often. When you're searching for a new tool, do a trial run before you select which one to get. Whatever your situation, we have the tools you're looking for.

Tame the Bushes and Lawn
Lighten the load with outdoor power equipment rentals. Neaten the yard with a lawn mower and the sidewalks and driveway with a pressure washer. Your outdoor oasis will be looking fresh in no time.

Make Painting Easier with Paint Sprayers and Rental Ladders
Make the most of warmer weather to paint outdoors. Rent paint sprayers to get optimal coverage and work much faster than you would with a brush or roller and a paint tray. Rent scaffolding and ladders to reach high areas when painting houses, sheds, and fences. We carry extension ladders and step ladders for medium or smaller jobs, so you won't have to wait when inspiration strikes.

Moving Trucks
For large equipment rentals, we keep moving trucks ready to rent. We'll have the right size for your DIY project so you can keep your job on track. As your source for DIY and storage projects, it's easy to make us your source for transport and moving as well.

Whether you're in need of power tools like table saws, large industry tools such as concrete mixers, or everyday tools like drills, we've got you covered. We make moving easier with our Penske moving truck rentals as well. Let us help you complete your next DIY project with the perfect tools and transit for the project.

How do I rent tools or trucks?

Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what trucks or tools you can rent. If you'd like confirmation before you drive there, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You could also check out our truck rental or tool rental pages to see if what you need is in stock at your store. For more details on renting tools, read the Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.

Can I rent tools by the hour?

You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY jobs may only require a rental for a few hours, and major projects can also be accomodated. You've got options to rent tools by the week, day, or month, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I return the tools?

You can return the tools early if you finish your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.

How long can I rent a truck?

Rent a moving van or truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you'll need to return it to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the provided documentation before selecting a truck.

Should I refill the rental truck before I bring it back?

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Match the amount of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. When you don't refill the rental vehicle, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
