I have been shopping at Home Depot for over 35 years and it seems like they are finally getting customer service right. I was blown away by the amazing service today. My check out clerk was super. The gentlemen on the fork lift were more friendly and helpful than typical at HomeDepot.

I would definitely recommend The Home Depot store on Genesee near Balboa Avenue because they have all the items I need for my home improvement projects whether it is a new paint job, landscape design or plumbing / electrical repair I can find everything I need at great prices! I can be back to work within minutes from this location to get the project completed fast, you nailed it Home Depot!

I would recommend the Genesee Avenue Home Depot because of it's great central location near Balboa Avenue, the abundance of items I need for projects, all the help I need to get it done and good prices for the items. I love this place!

I've been to the Balboa/Genesee Home Depot store many times and the customer service here is always first-rate, which is very helpful when you're seeking good advice on product selections. The store is clean, well-stocked with a broad range of products, and prices are competitive.

In attempts to rectify a mistake made by an employee altering my design and measurements on a garage door that was ordered, I had to be relentless in rectifying their error. It cost me over a thousand dollars in labor costs alone. Im still left without a replacement and after a month of speaking with various managers in this store,I was finally able to RETURN the mistake! I can't believe the store manager is so inaccessible that I wasn't allowed a message, voicemail or any attempts to get him involved. Does he even exist?

Despite the fact that the store is well stocked and convenient, the lack of service is extraordinary. I have been coming to this store for over ten years and it amazes me that their level of customer service gets worse yearly. The employees are not friendly nor helpful and spend more effort avoiding customers than actually helping them.

On my last shopping trip to the Home Depot, I just needed one item and the other store garden center was out of stock. I went to the Home Depot just minutes from my home and not only did they have plenty of the item but it was on sale for 50% off regular price! I bought 3 and was able to quickly pay because there was an open self checkout line and back to the project in minutes! You should check out the Home Depot for your summer projects, I highly recommend it.

I do not like the self check out. Home Depot makes enough money. They need to hire cashiers. I’m not working for free for Home Depot.

The Home Depot location at Genesee Avenue and Balboa Avenue is such a great location, I got the item I needed, used the self check out and back to the project within minutes! There are always plenty of supplies on hand at great prices, this place rocks!

Cashier Michael is abysmal at customer service. He is terribly rude, and he made a mistake ringing me up. Daron is quite nice and knowledgeable, try to get him, if you can.

When serving me as a customer comes first, then you can guarantee you have earned my loyalty in return. I have many options these days, but I choose to return to Home Depot because I have never ever been let down, and I have been shopping here for over 20 years.

I would definitely recommend this Home Depot at 4255 Genesee Avenue in Clairemont for it's great location! They have all the materials and tools I need to complete my home improvement projects quickly at great prices! I can get what I need and back to work within minutes, you nailed it Home Depot!

The aisles are crowded. I purchased a bedbath door knob. Observed a video on installation... at the time of this writing I have been unsuccessful! Certainly there must be implied knowledge that I don't have! I went back to the store for help... Robert and I watched a different installation video... I am still frustrated and will need to wait a day or two now because I have other activities scheduled. I spoke with Diana in keys and door knobs ... she found Robert to help. Robert and Diana were outstandingly in efforts to help.

Man! Dude knew right which Isle and how far off the ground my item was. Happy Camper over here.

Good store , However they NEED knowledgeble people in the Garden dept. they don’t have a clue EVERY-TIME i ask a question or ‘’ do you have any”” they’re lost ...... The SPORTS ARENA location is better .

We're always pleased to shop at the Genesee Ave. Home Depot. The store is convenient and the associates are always friendly and extremely helpful. The displays were excellent in the Garden Area and we bought more than we originally intended.

After researching toilets, I thought I knew what we wanted. Our salesperson, who also works as a plumber, guided us to reconsider each available option. He listened to my priorities, explained how parts worked, researched an option not in stock, and offered clear, concise, useful information. We are more than satisfied with every aspect of his service and the store in general.

Had ants. Went in and found the product I was looking for with ease. Was going to use self checkout yet Janet asked to help and made the trip even easier! Was thanked for shopping at HD and went home and used the product. No more ants. Can it get any better? No. go shop there
