Employees need better training

Delivery and set up were on time. The staff was very courteous and efficient.

Overall, this location usually has what I need easily assessable. Sometimes the shelves cooked be stocked and organized a little better.

This store is always very neat, clean and organized!

Had a 6 yr, warrantee water heater go bad in 4 yrs. purchased new one before retuning old one and could only get store credit instead of putting refund on my card!

Instead of making a good paying customers feel comfortable and welcome, it was quite the opposite experience at the Peoples Plaza store. The regular staff were quite polite and helpful though.

During my shopping experience on 06/17/22 I experienced an extremely rude MOD working in the tile section, a very helpful MOD that handled a Special Order issue, and a rude female associate in the paint department. Picking up a Special Order was handled well by Donna one of the MODs on duty and Faissal the Customer Service Associate.

Staff was not helpful (retrieving item from upper shelf). Staff was extremely rude. Another gentleman stated it is this way all the time at this location.

I purchased pelican gray flooring for my home, it is really nice and valuable touch with smooth.

After having a previous issue with a lawn mower that didn't start once I arrived home, I was incredibly please that manager Sherrie was accommodating and went above and beyond for customer satisfaction. Due to this store not being relatively close to my residence, it was a difficult process to return to retrieve another mower due to inventory availability.

MB went out of her way to guide us through a possible paint project and make helpful suggestions. Very pleasant throughout the whole process!

Angelina greeted me at returns and was very helpful. She understood my situation and provided a discount because of the trouble that it caused. I had bought a rocker/dimmer switch and had not noticed it had already been opened. When I opened it the switch had been replaced with a regular switch. I returned it but there were none left. I was forced to buy a 3 pack to get what I needed. She provided me a discount because of the inconvenience. Angelina was friendly and professional. I always use thus Home Depot as my primary go to hardware store. However, her service only reinforces my desire to come to your store again.

Glasgow HD had the cordless blinds I needed, in stock...and with a cutter that wasn't broken. The store is well-stocked, and the associates are friendly and much more helpful than other stores.

If I could rate a 1/2 star I would. The manager Leonard has no clue about the store policy and was rude. Telling me a policy is in effect that I need to provide a drivers license to mak a return when I have the original receipt the credit card I used to purchase the items less than 3 weeks ago. The cashier didnt scan the receipt and this is why the system was asking for the DL. Once I questioned him repeated and informed him of the policy he went to another register and everything worked fine. My issue is the "MISINFORMATION PROVIDED TO CUSTOMERS

Assistant Store Manager Jim found a solution to problem I was having at the store. Not only did he solve the problem but he updated me every step of the way. This is rare to see in any retail establishment. Thank you Jim!

Your paint department is fittingly in the middle of the store because there you have a gem named store associate Alyssa. She is always willing to help and always, always smiling. She always helps me find what I need - sand paper, tack cloth, Primer, Rustoleum paint.enamel and even Clear Coat, which Rustoleum makes in a regular can that you can roll on or use a paint brush. Who knew? Now, I know. So, tell Alyssa that Tony Prado says thanks for being so helpful during an era when some associates are not as, shall we say, enthusiastic? Is that fair? Thank you very much, Alyssa.

The best store around with many knowledgeable friendly associates, very organized and with a lot of good products.

Try and avoid this store if you can and travel the extra miles to the Newark store or another home improvement center up the street!

I haven’t been to the store for over 20 years now I like this store the best because I know the people they are friendly and nice I had a lot closer to my home they usually have what I need in stock most of the time I would like to thank Patricia and the cashier today for making my job easier at the Newark store I returned some items today and I had no problems at all that’s the way I like it
