Extremely helpful associate
I went in for several different 4 X 8 pieces of lumber, 4 X 4 posts, screws & hardware. Arianne approached me twice to answer questions and help as I loaded my cart. Arianne also showed up to cut some of my lumber as I wished. Arianne was extremely helpful and that is refreshing to find in a 'big box' store!

We Ordered Kitchen Cabinets Finally!!!
Our associate met with us on three occasions prior to our final cabinet purchase and was vey knowledgeable/patient. Our challenge was that existing cabinets are very old and we have soffits running throughout the kitchen above all cabinets that cannot be moved. Our salesperson had solutions!

Service was good!
Was looking for a person to help me out took about 15 minutes. Yet when I got the help it went well with placing my order for Cellular Blinds. The employee was kind, patience and if he didn't have a answer for one of our question he asked another employee...wonderful employee! We placed the order and now we are waiting for them to come in.
The only thing we could not get was the "black-out blinds," according to what was told to us is the company LVCELL didn't make them in the color we choosed...bummer!
So we went the next step with some light let in.

Outstanding Customer Service
My wife and I went in for an appointment to design a Kitchen cabinet layout, scheduled for 2:30 pm on February 20, 2016. The store associate who assisted us was on time, polite and didn't try to rush us through. He explained everything available to us, including several price options, as he was obviously very knowledgeable about the products he represented. When we had made our choices, he wrote up our order with a smile. Then he noticed we had a long list of items from several other departments throughout the store. He asked if he could assist us with ordering those items; even walking us around the store to be sure we had everything correct. In less than 2 hours we had completed a task we thought would take all day. We just happen to own a service business nearby the Grafton Home Depot, so we recognize outstanding customer service when we see it!! This Kitchen Designer amazed us and we hope that he is appreciated by those in management at this store!

GREAT STORE EXPERIENCE
FROM THE GREETER TO THE ASSOCIATE THAT HELPED ME IN THE BATH DEPARTMENT, EVERYONE WAS EXTREMELY NICE AND HELPFUL. THEY WERE ABLE TO ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS ( AND I HAD MANY ) :) AND EVEN ADJUSTED THE PRICE CAUSE THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED WAS DAMAGED. THE STORE WAS CLEAN AND EVERYONE HAD A SMILE ON THEIR FACE.

Just Bulbs
All I wanted were the Appliance bulbs! A friendly gentleman store associate asked me if I needed help picking out a bulb. That I thought was very helpful, no I said, I knew what I was looking for, and I saw it in front of me, clearly marked! Nice! On the way out of the self-checkout a pleasant voice "thank you for shopping at home depot" I heard! Thank You, I said. Nice!

Making a complex split purchase - made easy by store associate Kathy
My purchase was a promotional sale requiring purchase of a combination toolset (that was in stock in the store) plus one other qualifying tool (which was not in stock and had to be ordered for in-store pick-up by me). Payment was made from 3 sources: 1) HomeDepot paint rebate card, 2) HomeDepot gift card, and 3) HomeDepot consumer credit card. I had attempted this purchase the previous day, but its complexity had locked-up the HomeDepot system, the transaction failed, and I was advised to try again the next day. The next day sales associate Kathy processed this purchase without a glitch and I was out the door in 15-minutes.

Gereral purpose visit - propane bottle exchange
Propane bottle exchange was prompt. No line at cashier, associate was up front for bottle exchange within 3-minutes, refilled bottle was clean and appeared nearly new.

Left with a smile!
We had been watching the prices of appliances at the Home Depot and other stores like a hawk for the last couple of months. We had our eye on a specific range and Judy Dean was super helpful and pointed out that the one we've wanted would be going back to it's original price the next day (and informed us of that extra 10%!) and we knew we had to buy it, the price just couldn't be beat. Judy made our checkout super quick and easy!

I have to say that I have been very pleased with the Customer Service that Home Depot has given me over the course of the past year. I don't know if all people remember that there was a day that Customer Service was the utmost priority in the service industry. It fell off over the past decade or so. As a consumer, I often felt that I was working for the stores that I frequented. I have my MBA, took a sabbatical to raise our children. That was approximately 15-20 years ago. I worked in the Health Care industry and it was imperative that we rendered good serve to help for return customers. This fell off while I raised our children. I often felt as I was working for the store, restaurant, any venue I frequented This is the beginning of something big. Your customers, employees included in that category is the best form of advertisement.
