The employees at this location are always helpful and courteous. I always use this Home Depot.

Great experience today. Good help and Great Service. I live close by so I hope it remains constant.

I will not shop here again. Despite requesting one be paged, I have been unable to find an employee in lumber during the last three visits. I was also recently told by an employee in plumbing that he would not cut a 10' piece of pipe into two 5' pieces without charging me the per foot price. I get much better service at the store in Orange, CT.

I generally can find what ever I am looking for and If I can't and need suggestions..everyone is very helpful. The outdoor flower and gadget area is total attractive to customers. Employees are friendly and pleasant. I love Home Depot being a part of our neighborhood.

I would like to make a correction to the survey submitted today HXX 24446 15986 / 17115 15973. The representative that provided exceptional customer service was Carmen (at the pro desk). I indicated on the survey it was Vanessa, but that is an error, I did not see Carmen's name on the receipt until after the submission.

Great store. What makes this store great to me are the employees who do work here. Always helpful. All of the Home Depots have great employees but since this is the one I frequent the most I figured I would shine light on them.

Generally this is a good place to shop. Recently had to wait 20 minutes for assistance and then had the misfortune of getting a sale person who didn't know how to properly cut window shades. Got home and NONE of the 4 fit. I even brought in the ones I wanted to replace for proper measurement. Very frustrating.

John C was very helpful with my son's project. It is wonderful to be able to rely on Home Depot for help when we need it!

Whenever I need any help at Home Depot in Hamden, it is really hard to get help from the employees. There are some employees at this store who work very hard to make up for the others half who really are not helpful and bring the moral of the place down.

Shante at the customer service desk went above and beyond for me each time I came into the store. I am a widow living in a nearly 100 year old home and try to do as much as I can myself. I had purchased 2 defiant photo control outside lighting pieces. I was back and forth returning one or the other because they would work for a day and then start flickering. I can not say enough about Shante, her patience with me and getting the help I needed. Always welcoming me when I came into the store. Shante is certainly a gift to the Hamden store.

Shopped in the appliance department on a Friday evening after work. I was actually surprised their was someone in the department to help that knew what he was talking about and could provide the necessary help. I got a great deal on a stackable washer/dryer set. If the entire visit took a half hour I would be shocked.

Wow what amazing customer service. I hate entering home improvement stores but at this store they go beyond courteous, professional and super friendly service. From James helping me pick out a snow blower and a leaf blower, then his supervisors Mike and Mike assisting and allowing me to try out the one at the store. I was able to pick one out with confidence. Then James helped me pick out an affordable snow blower that was perfect for me. I then met the associate at customer service Kendall. He was so sweet. Then James called me back to remind me about delivery. awesome. I also forgot my wallet and credit cards at the register. Kendall called me to advise me he had my wallet, I raced back and got it from him. Whewwwww what a life saver. Plus he did not make me feel as if I was a moron to lose it. very courteous.

The store is run in a bit of a chaos. Not all Home Depot are run this way. This one is struggling. Some of the associates are really competent and nice. Minority of the associates are not competent, not willing to help and not friendly. There is room for improvement here. I sure wish the management kicks into high gear and make this an efficiently well-run Home Depot. It would be much more pleasant to shop here.

NANCY WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO HELP ME. I ASKED HER FOR A 10% DISCOUNT ON A $99.99 THERMOSTAT. THE $10.00 DISCOUNT SHE GAVE ME CAN BE USED FOR GAS FOR MY CAR. SHE UNDERSTOOD MY SITUATION AND GAVE ME SOME KIND WORDS. SHE IS TRULY AN ASSET TO YOUR STORE. PLEASE GIVE SENIORS 10% TO 20% DISCOUNT ON ALL ITEMS THEY BUY. WE SENIORS NEED YOUR HELP.

Overall, the employees in this store are helpful, professional and personable. The management staff is completely the opposite. My company purchases a large amount of product weekly/monthly and if the prices and location wasn't good, we would shop elsewhere. This locations management staff walk around like they are entitled and don't need to be like their employees. We have walked by management who don''t even acknowledge customers. What happened to the 10 foot rule? If you need help ask Kenny, Mike, Carol, Linda, Joyce, Andre, Joe, Steve or any other employee, they will certainly be fantastic as always.

This store 's manager helped out my big order without any trouble, and smooth, and he is a super nice person.

I would recommend the store for 3 persons in the Plumbing, Lighting and Garden center. They have all been very helpful. Unfortunately Pro Desk is a turn-off.

I Ordered replacement Jeld-Wen windows with the help of Richard Kantrow, (Millwork Specialist) who was extreemley knowledgeable and helpful. Mr Kantrow took the time to make certain that every facet of the ordering details were correct.

The store for my diy questions! It's smaller than most big box stores and may not have everything, but always the first one I run to for help!

I've been in this store a few times before, and was never very impressed. It was fine for the average hardware/houseware/lumber/garden/plumbing store. But on a recent visit, I had a list with all sorts of things that I simply could not find, so I asked for help from numerous employees. They were all very gracious, courteous and willing to go the extra mile. What most impressed me was that one employee did not act as if he knew everything about all things mechanical, so he brought in another colleague to make sure we got the item that we needed. It was definitely a much nicer experience than any I'd had before.
