Employee listened carefully to plans and needs for carpet & steered me to the right one for us. Completed ordering paperwork efficiently. The employee who measured up for the carpet was also efficient and courteous (and came within a reasonable time). We have (again efficiently) finalized order and are eager to hear from the installers. The only drawback we encountered was getting shuffled all around on the phone on the way to get to the carpet folks.

Please be sure to water the plants displayed outdoors, especially when the weather is hot.

Assistance and advice for grass planting was helpful

Jayden pressey went above and beyond to make sure our shopping experience was a good one. He answered every single question that we had he was amazing.

Items were available, the associate was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was patient with me as I made the decision on what blower to purchase.

This store really is a disappointment to your Home Depot standards. No employees were available except behind customer service and one cash register and one to over see the self checkout lines. Very sorry but just being truthful in comparison to other Home Depot’s in our area as well as other New England states.

They are always rude. Always rushing you even if there isn’t a line of people waiting. Also they don’t listen to what you are saying. I feel the the girl was doing a guessing game. If she would have listened she would have had all the information she needed.

I love shopping @ Home Depot. It’s always a good experience and in and out the store in a timely manner.

I had to make a return and was so pleased that the woman at the service desk was friendly and very helpful and focused on helping me quickly. Then my experience got even better when I had a good fortune to have Stoth ask if he could help me with lightbulbs. Everyone who owns a home knows that picking out lightbulbs has become a complicated task. Stoth was extremely knowledgeable and very efficient, knowing exactly what the options were and where they were located. Having contracted a number of homes, I generally expect to have to help myself when I go into Home Depot or Lowe’s and when I need expertise I go to the local lumberyard or kitchen design store. I wish they would put Stoth in Kitchen design because that is next on my list and it is great to deal with someone this smart and well-informed. You can tell he knows what he is doing and gives accurate information. I will add that checkout was back to the old Home Depot experience where staff was standing around talking to each other instead of helping customers. I had this not only because it is true and you can see it on the video, but also because maybe now that the store is changing you could change that too. Maybe have Storh manage them?

It's nice to have a store where employees greet you and ask if they can help during your visit.

This store has excellent quality care and customer service. Julie and Carmen in particular were just wonderful to do business with. Julie shows exceptional care and devotion to her position and Carmen the manager was just terrific. These ladies are amazing and such examples to how jobs get done professionally and properly. We look forward to dealing with them in the future. Thank you Home Depot.

If you want excellent customer service shop at Home Depot in Hamden!

This particular store has many problems. Stay away from Home Depot gift cards! They are not treated like “same as cash”. You will not be able to use your gift card if you intended to use any other discount coupon. Associates are pleasant, but only a very few are helpful. I have been very disappointed on two occasions with this location in the last four months.

My humidifier arrived in Hamden, don't know the actual reason why, for I had seen on Carl's computer that it would come from Bristol. There were 3 of them on his screen. At 11:45 in Bristol, I was told the van hasn't arrived to deliver it. The next time I called it was said that it was not in Bristol but in Hamden. I was actually in Hamden that day at a Doctors appointment and could have picked it up a day early and saved gas as well. It was Crystal, I believe, who told me it was coming from Hamden. At least that is where I thought she was. The women were great, polite, helpful and understanding. The gentlemen were also, but I dealt mostly with the women.

Extremely rude customer service front desk staff. More interested in being confrontational and arguing than helping to satisfy customers and earn more business. Took more time rudely trying to follow illogical rules and lecture me about them than the amount of time it would have taken to use common sense and speak politely to me. Will gladly spend several hundred dollars elsewhere.

This is my favorite Home Depot store. The sales people are very helpful and generally speaking friendly. You can find almost any tool or items there and the prices are pretty good. I bought a great pressure washer at an excellent price--a great value.

If you wants to feel at home when you shop then go to Homedepot in HAMDEN the employee are fantastic

I go here when I have to. I’d rather go to North Haven but my first choice is Wallingford. The employees seem clueless except for Peter. They gather in groups and ignore customers. The shelves are messy.

The staff is friendly and helpful. If you go late in the evening, ner closing it's very difficult to find someone to help you.

Store is clean and the staff is friendly and very professional

Asked your associate whose name is Jarell for assistance in finding a commercial fan. Jarell impressed me greatly with his professionalism and friendly willingness to help. When the fan was located on a shelf about eight feet high he retrieved a rolling ladder and brought it down for me. It is because of people like Jarell that I make Home Depot the first place I go to when shopping. Thank you Jarell.
