Due to my current Bosch washer breaking down and leaking after 17 years of service, we went to The Home Depot in Hercules, CA looking for a new washer & dryer. Sales Associate “Chris” assisted in looking for the proper pair that would fit in our home laundry closet. Most of the new full size machines would have been too large to fit in the space. Chris could have sold me any washer & dryer pair, but instead, took the time to make sure the right set that would work in the space at home. Decided to purchase a GE “compact” 24” washer & dryer. Most pleased with this set! The washer runs very quiet and the dryer is “vented” as I wanted. Both have lots of useful features. Chris was very patient with all my numerous questions and concerns. Very professional and knowledgeable. This is the second purchase we’ve made at Home Depot…the previous being a new Rheem furnace and air conditioner purchased in 2017.

I purchased a new GE compact washer & dryer to replace my old appliances that were failing. Was assisted by Chris in the appliance department who was informative, very knowledgeable and professional. She put up with my numerous questions and answered each one. I have a small laundry closet that Chris was concerned some of the newer, larger machines wouldn’t fit. She didn’t try to sell me a larger machine that just wouldn’t fit and had me double check the measurements. In the end I purchased a GE compact washer & “vented” dryer (I didn’t want ventless). So far very pleased with the features and performance. Also, Javier and his team who delivered the new machines and took away the old pair were also courteous and professional. All in all, another great purchase from Home Depot! Bought a Rheem furnace and air conditioner a few years ago. Also excellent!

I knew that I would have to put up a fuss because I placed an order of windows that were custom. I was so excited for this project only to be sorely let down. I knew these weren't the best quality but I did expect them to work. None of the double hung windows would open and the design of the windows is flawed. Two tiny little two inch pieces of plastic are meant to pull down 30-40 pound windows? They all broke off immediately. One window that we finally got open not only had those pieces break off but the mechanism to open and shut the window broke. It took two of us to close the window and lock it so the top window wouldn't fall down. There is no description or example of this mechanism in the store nor in the pamphlet provided. I believe now that this is on purpose. When I showed these pieces to various employees that I talked to, they all agreed. The store manager, Chris, at first, said I couldn't return them because it was a custom order and I had signed a contract. Well, the contract was for usable windows. I will continue to shop here because of the location and convenience, for basic things, like paint, drywall and plywood. But I will hard-pressed to place another order again. Be sure to ask lots of questions, people, lest you end up hugely disappointed like me. I accept that responsibility. But the store manager, and it's employees, should think twice before refusing a return. "Sorry, not sorry," was the attitude.

Christina was really helpful on helping me find every item I needed to complete my job. The store was well organized and checkout was a breeze.

They always have my antifreeze for gm vehicles I go to other home depots & they are always out of stock & the price is way lower,& better compared to going to an auto store.

Every year, they provide exceptional service, and this year was no different. From start to finish, everyone who assisted Cesar ensured that my experience was smooth, pleasant, and efficient. I look forward every year to purchasing 100 poinsettias for my church, and the outstanding service I receive from this store is a major reason why I continue to return. I purchased a Gorilla garden cart and wanted it assembled. Mo assisted with the assembly order and assured that it was done right and on time. Mo is the best employee at the Hercules Home Depot that I have received great customer service in a very long time!!!

The Pro team ( Mia and Nyi) helped me the minute I walked through the big doors I was greeted by Nyi and asked if I needed help and she guided me to Mia. I was able to place my order and walked out with confirmation in 10 mins.... Great work

Stepping into the shop already felt lack of people working around. It is rarely can see any of staff pay attention to customer who walk in store. Only product promoter is serving their own product. Unless you have to go to customer desk ask for someone help.

There is always a disappointment

At the Returns counter, Mo was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. She made my transactions smooth and easy.

I bought some paint products. The salesman looked up my account and said that I had some credits from my Air Conditioner purcheased from home depot and installed by jazz. I would not have know about those benefits.

Everytime I go to this store, I'm greeted multiple times, staff is more than eager to help, some offer suggestions when inquired about project routes. Usually have 90% of the things I need, usually order the rest through their hub. My main gripe about this store is the absolute insanity of adding cages, making the entrance & exit one way, and the lack of thinking on management's part for doing so. I get shrink of products & security, but this system is severely flawed. It adds tack time for customer assistance, wastes time for the employee, loses more sales than the shrink initially was, and deters people from shopping there in the first place. I've waited 40 mins for a cage to be opened before; after requesting assistance to no avail, I bypassed the cage (they are a terrible design with a bypassable lock) & checked out within 7 mins. The qr code system they have setup at the cages doesn't work when no one is available. Times out on me 50% of the time as no one picks the ticket. The one way entrance & exit doesn't work for the contractor types such as myself. I park in the 'pro' parking for ease of loading, but have to walk 200'+ to enter & then double back to the side of the store I needed to beeline to? The people that actually suffer are the regular customers & this store is losing long time shoppers cuz of it.

I don't shop Home Depot as much any more but when I do it is always the Hercules store. The service is superb, much better than other hardware stores. Corporate on the other hand leaves a lot to desired. I had an experience where a product was purchased had a unnoticeable crack in its cap. It bleached my car seat, my car floor mat, my jacket and jeans. Home Depot Corporate refused to take any responsibility for selling me a product with defective packaging.

There’s laurel and Hardy working at the paint department. While Hardy is very helpful, Laurel is sleepy and laze.

So many items to choose from and very convenient in Hercules, CA

I went into rental area to see if they had an item i needed, promply the employee there asked me if i needed help to which i said no thanks im just looking. And that id ask for help if i needed it. Well, he just stood there by me watching me. I asked if he had to stand there and he said yes. In case i needed help. I told him again i would ask for help if i needed it and he still didnt move. Asked to talked to the manager john who came by but still left me feeling i was racially profiled. Too bad for this store, been there since it opened. Disappointing.

THIS STORE SUITS ME. I LIKE IT BECAUSE IT HAS A CALMER ATMOSPHERE AND IS ALWAYS CLEAN
