I don't live in Hickory, was just there for the weekend. But I decided to use the time to go a step further in some home projects, including buying a couple fans. This store actually didn't have the one I liked in stock, but was able to let me purchase them, and then pick them up at a store near my house, so it turned out to be very convenient for me that way. The employees were friendly and helpful, and, as usual, I ended up walking out with a bit more than I intended, but that's not a bad thing. That kind of customer assistance is appreciated, and allows me to honestly recommend this store for home updates purchases.

The 8th Street Drive SE, store has always been clean and the isles are un-cluttered. Caution areas are established to protect customers while workers are stocking overhead shelves. I have run in to the situation where there is inadequit stock on shelves. Associates have always friendly and helpful.

The store was decorated beautifully for the up coming season. An employee was standing at the paint counter ready to help me. He was very fast and very helpful. Even explained the mail in rebate/on line rebate to me.

Purchased light bulbs, the section was organized well and contained a good selection.

With a recent move for our family, we've made quite a few trips to Home Depot for everything from light bulbs to outdoor furniture. Every time we've gone there have been employees willing to help with whatever the list holds at the time! Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. They know what customer service is all about! Thank you, Home Depot!

They need a better process for large returns and space available for the vehicles making the return.

Excellent employees very helpful. One or 2 items blocking the walkways. Other than that it was a very clean store and easy to find items.

We are building a home and found the exact convection microwave that we want at a clearance price. Staff were helpful in helping us with this item. No box but who wants to pay over $100 for the box. This will make a nice addition to our new home.

Salesperson approached me immediately, and stayed with me through the whole process without being asked.

Get employees Helps when needed and you have to run all over the store for someone to help

I have been buying stones for building a retaining wall. The employees have been very helpful in loading the stones on my truck. I really like this store.

This store always has a good selection of flowers and plants and offers a great deal on the price of EarthGro mulch every Memorial Day (5 bags for $10!!). The return policy on the plants is helpful. I did have some aphids on Superbell plant that I purchased there and I had zero issue with a return when the plant did not thrive. The cashiers are friendly and efficient. If you have a true garden question - go in the early AM when the distributors are tidying up and laying out new stock. The garden distributors/ vendors have answered specific garden questions ( soil type/ lighting/ water needs) for me in the past.

The store is always clean and well organized. The selection of products is comparable to other home improvement stores and the price is usually cheaper. The customer service and the willingness if the staff to help is outstanding. Home Depot is always my Go To Home Improvement Store!

This store had a wonderful and colorful selection of plants, flowers, mulch, stone, etc. The associatess were there ready to help without having to look ourselves. This means so much when you are at a store and need assistance. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Awesome customer service. In store, I received immediate help and when I had questions, another employee responded quickly. I called back regarding concern with my purchase and spoke to a very helpful person, and she offered to seek more advice and she would follow up with me. She returned my call as promised. (Frances)

I went in was looking for clevis pins. associate made my trip a breeze I was in and out way faster than I would have been anywhere else, and a little cheaper to.

Had to ask for someone to help me in tools twice, but the person who helped me seemed very knowledgeable about the products.
