I LOVE HOW EASY IT IS TO SHOP HERE, THE LINES ARE NEVER TOO LONG. GARDENING AREA HAS A NICE SELECTION OF PLANTS, MULCH, AND DIRT AT GOOD PRICES TOO.

THE STORE USUALLY HAS PLENTY OF THE ITEMS I'M LOOKING FOR TO CHOOSE FROM. CASHIERS ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND WILLING TO CALL FOR LOADING HELP WHEN NEEDED.

The people there are always ready to help and be a part of your project by giving great ideas that save money and time

The neatest store. No pushing buttons in aisles when you need help. The employees can be found near you. When you need anything in the tile department, find Billy, and he can help you figure your project, make suggestions, if you want them and help in so many ways.

Everyone in this store was extremely helpful as we were searching for our needs. Very helpful and courteous. Store was very clean with easy movability throughout the isles.

This was my first time buying at Home Depot. I found the staff very courteous and knowledgeable. The store was clean and well stocked. I would definitely recommend this store to my friends.

I shopped here on December 27, 2018 and needed plumbing supplies to connect my new GE gas cooktop. I knew how to do the work to hook everything up. but just wasn't sure what I needed to complete the job. I went to my local Home Depot, went back to the plumbing department and was helped by Matt. Matt was very professional, took a look at my installation and picked everything out that I needed to complete the job. If I had to do that, I would have made several trips back to the store, but Matt made sure I had everything I needed and nothing extra. Hats off to you Matt and Home Depot, you made my day!!!

These locations are too far and few. Pease do yourself a favor and visit this one whenever you are in the area. Shop, Buy or Rent. They do have it for You!

This store is always very neat and clean. On my last visit I had the pleasure of having Rhonda as a cashier. She was one of the nicest and sweetest cashiers I have ever had! And to me, that is important!

The Hickory Home Depot Home Improvement Store is a very store that is extremely easy to maneuver. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

Because we don't have a Home Depot nearby, I end up shopping in a number of different locations. The Hickory store is my favorite as it is always clean and neat and the employees are most helpful when needed.

This story is about 20 + miles from me, but if I need tools or supplies, this is my #1 place to come. They are alway helpfull and friendly. The story is always neat and clean, and it is very seldom that I do not find what I need. If it is a product that I would like to have, I just ask a sales person and they tell me when it will be back in stock. The prices of Homedepot are very competitive. I have a small DIY wood workshop and the majority of my tools come from this store. Also several of our home appliances were purchased here. Thanks to all of You!

When a customer brings back a defective purchase to the return desk and asks for a return it is best for the employee to do the return at that time. Sending him, the customer, back into the store to find another suitable replacement product and then bring it back to the return desk for a “swap” is unacceptable. Does this benefit the customer? No, it benefits the employee as they will get to you, an unsatisfied customer, in the due course of their day; no matter how many times you, the customer, stand in line or search through the store for replacement product. Should the customer feel bad because they bought defective product and brought it back to Home Depot? For accountability purposes, I would think Home Depot would want documentation on how often merchandise is brought back into the store and the disposition recorded for that defective product. This could help management understand what the return desk employees do during the course of their day. Does the return desk employee think a customer that is dissatisfied cares whether you have or have not had your “well deserved break?” Is that an excuse or an apology? It is a blame game. The problem is the defective $1.25 product, not the employee that misses their break. Home Depot employees should listen to the customer about their wishes. Home Depot managers; make sure you have staffing in place to cover employee breaks/needs. And don’t put the customer out a second time by sending them back into the store for potential further disappointment resolving the issue. Not all of us care to shop ‘til we drop.
