Great Faucet Display
Salespersons were occupied during this busy season and lunch time, but one took the time to direct me to the right aisle. Display of faucets above shelves were helpful to me in finding what I liked..

Hospitality & Helpfulness
My Sales Person was very friendly and helpful. She made sure that my daughter and me had everything we needed before leaving the store (the right hoses, cords). She made sure our appliances had all the correct preferences we wanted. She was awesome!

Friendly, Helpful, &very Knowledgeable!.
New home ownership can be a stressful experience, especially when it comes to home repairs or remodeling. The teams at this location be it in flooring, electrical, tools, and nursery are all helpful and knowledgeable in their areas. We haven’t been steered wrong yet!

Best Store to shop.
Shopping the Black Friday sale, was greeted by 3 "elves" decked out for the season.
When asked them where an item was located, one walked me right to the item. "Talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE ****
Then after selecting the 1st item I wanted, I asked another "reindeer" if she could tell me where the next item I needed was located. She quickly consulted her cell phone and walked me to an aisle probably 10 aisles from where we 1st talked about what I was looking for. ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF GREAT CUSTOMER SERCICE *********

Bought a GE washing machine
Today Cynthia in the Appliance Dept. Made our shopping experience wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. She took the time to answer all our questions on a washing machine we were looking at & bought. We will definitely come see Cynthia again if we need another appliance. Our flooring order experience

Favorite Store
The High Point Home Depot normally has exactly what I’m looking for. I asked an employee for directions to an item and he helped me look but did not know where to find it, it would have been helpful if he could have found another employee who was more familiar with that area of the store.

Your manager was a jerk!!!
When I realized that I did not get the 10% discount across the board, I asked to see a manager. He quickly informed me that Home Depot was not a charitable organization. He was rude and disrespectful toward me. He was not at all caring about the commitment our military makes to defend his freedoms. I will not go back to Home Depot ANYWHERE unless there are no other options to purchase the same or comparable product elsewhere!!!

This is not specifically about the store but rather about a recent OTR microwave installation that didn't go well. This transaction reflects on the store but does not directly involve anyone at the store. I had waited 10 days for this unit to be delivered and installed when the Home Depot clown car arrived in my driveway and three clowns rolled out. I could detect right away that these clowns were under pressure to get this task completed as quickly as possible. In a perfect world things go just as you would like them to go. The chief clown encountered a challenge and did not hesitate to bail. I won't go into the details but you get the point. I will conclude with this:

Today, July 9, while on the phone, I was faced with a frustrating, then reassuring situation with members of the, Home Depot store in High Point, NC. I had an outstanding order in store, which I planned to pick up but then needed to have it delivered. I checked another lumber store in the area and matched the same items, at the same prices but found their delivery fee to be #20.00 less. I called the Home Depot store to ask if my order could be delivered and if they would match the competitor’s price on the delivery fee. I was given an absolute, NO, on matching the delivery fee. I asked if my order could be canceled so I could purchase the items at their competitor and the answer was yes, if the merchandise was still in store, which it was. I was asked to wait, and was then disconnected twice. I called again, asked to speak with the manager, and for a third time disconnected. Upon calling the fourth time, I asked for management before being directed to the floor and was connected with Cliff Iacovelli, a member of the management team. I explained my dilemma of not being able to pick up my order, wanted to have it delivered, and if the delivery fee could be price matched to their competitor. He asked questions about my order, asked for a moment then got back with me and said the order could be delivered and affirmed that he would honor the competitor’s price on delivery. He transferred me to Laura Thomas, who toke excellent care of the process. She had problems entering the delivery fee, and asked if she could call me back. Shortly afterward, I received a call back from her confirming the supplies delivery, fee, and much to my surprise the delivery fee was less than that of the competitor. I worked retail for 15 years and realize how important the customers are to any company. Thanks to Cliff and Laura, present and future sales were saved and most of all a happy customer/consumer, due to their attitude and timely manner in which the situation was handled.
