Convenient location, friendly and helpful employees. It is very easy to find a store employee when needing assistance or advice. Excellent selection of products.

I wish that parking and navigating around the garden center was similar to what is available at the construction area. A covered pick up at the garden center would be a big improvement.

I went to the Hoover Home Depot to purchase some wood for a bridge in my back yard. Fortunately, Todd in the lumber department offered to help me. He was so helpful in picking out the treated wood, cutting the wood planks to size, helping me pick out the right wood screws, and assuring I had everything I needed to complete this DIY project. Such a pleasant experience and the bridge turned out perfect.

It's hard to get someone to unlock the pine straw truck and load the straw. Takes too long.

This store is my fav. It's convenient to all the things I do around Hoover. Always have helpful staff.

I shop at the Home Depot in Pelham on a regular basis, and someone is always there to help me. This store is not helpful at all. Guys standing around and talking while people need assistance. I needed help getting some wood pieces down, and they just continued chatting. Not once did they offer help.

Home Depot in Hoover really does have the best for less. On occasion, they do run out of materials but usually have them in stock in a short period of time. I often see people wandering around looking for a sales associate but the associate is helping in another department. They should go to the contractor's desk or customer service AND ASK FOR HELP. All associates are cross trained so help is just a few isles away. And by all means, if you see a bad product or are getting attitude from an associate who is having a bad day - Take it to customer service or the contractor's desk and your problem will be handled. Whatever you need - Just Ask

I enjoy the people that work there and the knowledge of the products they carry.

I was thoroughly pleased with my experience at this location. Everyone from cashiers to store assistants were so super nice and helpful!!!! Everyone offered help and did so with a smile!!!! I love that!

Kynath , the cashier was very friendly and offered me a bigger discount on the tools I had bought. I would have never known it if he had not told me what I needed to do. He was very courteous and polite and glad he was the cashier I used. Home Depot is the place I buy all of my power tools. I feel like I am a kid in a candy store around all of the power tools. I like this store. I drive past a competitor and drive a few extra miles to Home Depot because the store is well stocked and organized, it is clean and the employees are very, very friendly and helpful.

If you are needing any pro Services assistance in regards to or small or large you can depend on the cashiers and pro Services help at this specific location conveniently located easy access the interstate everything about the store on a scale 1 to 10 is a 15 love the help and service I would go out of my way to return to the store and future purchases and pass others closer locations just to have the level of service from the store

The change in this store over the past year or so has been phenomenal. Before I avoided it, now I enjoy shopping there.

Can't find a Home Depot employee when you need help. I went in to buy ONE shelving unit, and after waiting nearly one hour, and getting "help" from four different employees, it was finally pointed out to me that the display was labelled incorrectly. When I went to check out, the cashier was rude, and the price rang up wrong. She told me to go back and take a picture of it with my phone ( instead of having another Home Depot person do it for me). I took the picture, and came back to show her. She rolled her eyes at me and said " oh, it the price you said". When I went to go leave with my sons ( who were with me), she laughed at me behind my back. Not likely to go back to THAT store anytime soon.

This is a wonderful Home Depot store to visit! It is right off of Highway 150 so it is super easy to access if you're in Hoover's main shopping areas. The store is clean, stocks multiple products, offers in store delivery, and you are bound to run into many tradesmen that can offer their services should you have questions or are looking for some work done around your home or office. Customer service is always top notch and the employees go above and beyond to help the customers. Always a fun place to shop the home improvement enthusiast!

My son in law, a disabled vet, sent us to the store with a very long, complicated list of items to buy for a building project that friends are completing for him. The store employees were incredibly helpful even going so far as to suggest an additional resource for them at the VA. I highly recommend this location!

Normally stop by store on Tuesdays after small group to pick up items for week. Today's visit, Tuesday Dec. 5th was the worst ever. Had some small items, grout, contractor bucket of nails and 50 pound bag of topsoil. NO FRONT REGISTERS OPEN. The gates were closed between registers. There was one employee trying to run four self checkouts with two customers standing with issues. I had large bag of topsoil, maybe 50 pounds worth. Had to lift WET bag off cart, precariously turn and try to maneuver bag so scanner would scan bag and then set wet bag back in cart. Very INCONVENIENT. Heavy bags are normally scanned by hand and left in cart. Lifting, turning, lifting edge to scan, difficult, aggravating and disappointing. If this is the new modus operandi for Home Depot, they are in trouble. From now on, I will check to see if front registers are open with cashier, if not and only self checkout open, I'm leaving!

I found what I needed very quickly and actually bought a little more than I went in for. The workers were very friendly and efficient. I would recommend this store to anyone.

The Hoover Riverchase Home Depot is usually well maintained and stocked. We enjoy shopping at this location, with confidence that if an item is not satisfactory, it will be cheerfully refunded, as long as the transaction is an honest return.
