Did you know?

Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.

Home Depot stores sent approximately 5.3 million pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This has helped the planet by preserving over 63,500 trees, keeping over 16,000 trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saving over 50 million gallons of water, and conserving 7.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity.

Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.

Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on toilets?

Yes, toilets are on sale during The Home Depot Bath Sale that runs from January 2nd to February 19th. Choose from two-piece or one-piece toilets during our toilet sale. Be sure to work with care if you're mounting a new toilet yourself, or contact our pros for toilet installation and remove any leak worries. While you're at it, consider replacing your bathroom mirrors and medicine cabinets as well to take advantage of these great deals.

Are washing machines and dryers part of the Presidents Day Appliance Sale?

Our Presidents Day Appliance Sale is here to help you get a fresh start on your spring cleaning. Get unbelievable deals from February 13th through March 5th. We've got impressive bargains on dishwashers, refrigerators, and more. Drop by the store today or shop online at your convenience.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with strong winds, thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What home repairs should I make before it gets cold?

Ready your home for colder weather by repairing or replacing broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be in for a real headache. On the outside of your home, examine metal roof panels or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams. Check cinder blocks and brickwork for cracks. Indoors, ensure ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, swap vinyl siding and chimney caps if they're damaged.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
