What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?
Enjoy some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for organizing your home with the perfect storage, setting up appliances indoors, and doing lawn and garden work outdoors. Remember to upgrade your patio furniture and outdoor power equipment as well. Get it all done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs only from 4/23 through 5/10. Don't miss out on these bargains.
What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Be confident your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On your home's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water leak inside. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms. Also, check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture freezes inside the cracks, you might be looking at trouble.
Do you have moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in May?
Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on May 2nd. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this sweet keepsake box that fits all kinds of tiny treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
