I have found the people who work at Home Depot to be wonderful. On one particular trip, Donnet and Delphina helped with a bunch of returns and they were amazing, very thorough yet efficient at the same time. They seemed to generally care. It made the whole experience really pleasant.

WE BOUGHT ALL THE BLOCKS FOR THE 2 RETAINING WALLS BUILD AT 796 ULSTER LANDING ROAD IN SAUGERTIES (HOUSE-PROPERTY STILL UNDER MORE CONSTRUCTION)

I am a semi retired contractor specializing in renovation and live about 45 miles from Home Depot. Many of basic needs are taken care of locally but when I need specialty items Home Depot is my first choice. Store usually has a good selection of, for instance, electrical and/or plumbing fixtures reasonably priced and in stock that I would otherwise have to special order. I also find it to be my most usual place to find good tools.

Neither chop saw nor sheet goods saw were working the day I was there.

This is the best Home Depot store that ever existed!

We came from Albany to get an item we could not get near our home. The staff was great.

I'm in home depot all the time and I always receive excellent customer service. The employees go above and beyond and they don't receive enough gratitude. I would recommend 100%

Last 2 years I’ve gotten constantly screwed with my purchases. Refused a proper refund, plants died and Home Depot wouldn’t honor they’re warranties for them.

You had to either walk to one end of the store or the other to pay with cash today. Only registers open in the middle of the store were self checkouts that were "credit only" which is ridiculous. Home Depot and 1 other store are the only places I see at all that believe there is a coin shortage. You shouldn't make you customers have to walk to the end of the store to pay for their items.

People there actually care and help you.

Big shout out to Diane in Flooring in HD Store #1227, Kingston, NY. Diane is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, both about the product and the HD ordering process, and was able to guide us through the many choices in our flooring project. She has a strong desire to help and an incredible customer service ethic. The other flooring staff couldn't help - didn't know much, didn't care and were just dialing it in. Diane is a shining jewel who deserves special honor and recognition.

I had a return that was handled quickly and friendly.

While shopping for Pavers at home Depot we stopped to look at the electric lawn movers... Yvonne the cashier there saw us looking and told us one of them was on sale. That got us talking and before I knew it I was the owner of an electric lawn mower thanks to Yvonne's helpful info.

This store has gone down hill and now it’s even worse when they have no one at the checkouts and expect you to do the employees job. For those who want self checkout good for them when I shop I prefer not to have to work after I shop by trying to scan everything I just found in there store.

Great service with a smile! The associates are friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend this store location. I’m very happy and satisfied with my purchases.

Employees snatch the items from your hands at self check out even after politely telling them "no thanks I can check my self out"(third time this week). Very pushy and rude. If the store is having a theft problem at self checkout then they should open normal registers and close the self checkout, not assault customers who shop at the store 5 days a week.

There are many "Box Stores" in our immediate area, but our Home Depot fits in well with the surrounding communities. It is well managed as evidenced by the longevity of many of the employees, and contributes to local events. From The Garden Center through to the indoor Lumber Yard, we've rarely had an issue with shopping here. From the 'Greeters' to the department clerks, cleaners, department workers, & 'Returns' People' (they sometimes have it really rough); there are many who just say 'hello' because they want to. Even the cashiers have been helpful to us.

4 hours to buy a riding lawn mower and trailer!

Very friendly staff, had what I needed (Wiremolding) ,check out was easy, no complaints

They tend to have carts only by the main entrance . I think they have way too many handycaped parking spots I understand the need for them but there are very few people using them .

At the Kingston Home Depot the workers are always willing to help by making suggestions on items that could make my project easier or more efficient . the parking lot has special parking for our veterans and handicap person which makes me proud of them for recognizing our special people. Mask and hand sanitizer are always available for any person who enters the store.

I recently bought a set of RYOBI batteries and almost did not.it was a10 mile trip one way. I visited the tool section expecting to find the batteries near the ryobi tools NOT THERE. I then saw a RYOBI display at the end of a aisle with tools and batteries , did not have the one i saw on line. ready leave very disappointed I saw another RYOBI display which did have the batteries i wanted. WHY ARE THE TOOLS AND ASSERIES SKATTERD ALL OVER THE STORE AND NOT IN ONE SECTION . LIKE OTHER STORES. VERY BAD FOR CONTRACTORS WHO DO NOT HAVE TIME TO HUNT DOWN ITEMS. The store was clean, and the store associates are always friendly and helpful.

Lack of Customer Service! Employees seemed more interested what was on the floor or their cell phones. Not one employee asked if i needed assistance. Waited 40 minutes to have 1 pallet of pellets to be loaded on truck no such luck. When I returned to Service Desk where I initially made the purchase for the pellets. When asked what I needed i shared with the employee that after 40 minutes no one ever loaded the pellets I purchased onto truck. I asked for my money back. Employee at desk showed no regard for loss of sale and being part of employees who chose to ignore that a customer had made a purchase and failed to follow thru. Management of this store should be held accountable for the actions of their subordinates.
