Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which tools you can rent. You can also call first to confirm a tool's availability, or check out our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your local store. If it's not, check another nearby store or contact our Rental Center associates to find where that tool is available. Can I rent a tool for an hour?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY jobs may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the month, week, or day, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call your Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I bring the tools back?
It's fine to return the tools early if you complete your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw blades come with table saw rentals?
Yes, saw rentals generally come with blades, but we recommend that you buy your own. You probably won't get a sharp saw blade that comes with your rental. However, you may luck out and receive an excellent blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, purchase a suitable blade, just in case.
