Nobody else offers cut to length wire

This store is what all home depots should be! Clean and friendly. The helpful staff always takes time for each customer.

I frequent this facility regularly and have always had great service. I just went in for deck stain and was very pleased with how knowledgeable and helpful Chuck was on providing me with all the supplies I needed for making my project as easy as possible. They even have a data base that saves the stains and paints bought so you can buy the exact match in the future. The electrical department was very helpful as well.

Everyone i came in contact with was so nice and helpful!! Especially Linda K. I was difficult and she was soooo patient and solved all my problems!! Everyone was great!!

I was ordering new window screens and the people at the millwork desk were super helpful and polite. Great to work with.

Shelly in paint is amazing. Always ready and willing to help. Friendly, and very knowledgeable. I would spend 10k on paint a year if she wasn’t there.

When getting help to load the cart or vehicle the employees even complain about not having enough help between the employees. Obviously this affects the customers trying to receive help while there at the store.

This store had the products we were looking for and the staff was nice, but we could not find a shopping cart for special needs such as a "Caroline's Cart" or a wheelchair with a basket at the entrance.

Chad at the Machesney Park store is a great sales person. He is there for your every need and would never let you buy something you don’t need. He is fantastic thank you very much, Chad.

Best customer service ever! From beginning to end, I have no complaints. From the paint department to the nursery, they are stellar.

Lately, I have been to Home Depot for supplies for retiling a fire place and for inquiring about cabinets and countertops. Everyone I have dealt with is knowledgable and friendly. I appreciate their personal care and knowing how to answer many of my questions. Audrey in cabinets seems great! I'm looking forward to working with her more to possibly order some cabinets and countertops.

Store cleanliness, competitive pricing and creative merchandise representation are keys in my way of thinking. I can tell there is an emphasis on friendliness and accommodation in this store. I see this in all the major chains now, but Home Depot has always had a nice ambiance to it. My wife and I go in this store 5-10 times per week for sure and this store has become our first choice. The employees ask if we can use some help and if we do, they don't point to an aisle and tell us about where to look. Instead, they walk us to the place where the item is and spend time if needed to help make a best choice. I'm a very handy DIY person, but sometimes the interaction really helps to learn something new. I hope they keep investing in their people because that is the biggest part of retail and the employees seem pretty happy.

I won't go into details, but I tried to purchase a washer at my local Menard’s, but the lone appliance department associate was swamped and no one else seemed interested in helping me. The service at the nearby Home Depot store was awesome and I left with my washer scheduled for install within 3 says. 5 of 5 star experience.

When I decided to do a project for my grandchildren, I went to Home Depot with the ideas and what I thought I needed when I was speaking with Dave S and Kayden. Oh, they made great suggestions that would make my project turn out wonderful. They were so kind and considerate and patient, they knew what they were talking about and ran all over the store finding the items I needed. They went above and beyond and providing excellent customer service I would recommend the store to everyone

I’m very happy with the experience I had the night I came to buy a washer and dryer. I chose the cheaper option out of two and the employee was extremely helpful and pointed out that the original ones I wanted were not too much more than the ones that I decided on. The fact that he actually had made two sales and had to delete the original didn’t make him upset or rude, like you sometimes get when you change your mind about something to the staff. I can’t wait for my washer and dryer to get here.

Lee was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the ovens and microwaves. Took his time even though he was the only one working, with all the customers and questions.

Have been purchasing 95% of my lumber/ landscaping equipment and supplies and battery powered tools. Love your ability to deliver large quantities of bagged mulch for a very affordable price. Love the Pro specials!
