How do I rent a tool?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which tools you can rent. You can also call first to inquire about a tool, or check out our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your local store. If it's not, try another nearby store or contact our Rental Center associates to learn where that tool may be available. Can I rent a tool for an hour?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY jobs may only require a short rental period, and long-term projects can also be accomodated. You've got options to rent tools by the day, month, or week, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You're welcome to return the tools early if you finish your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call your local rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw blades come with table saw rentals?
Yes, saw rentals often come with blades, but we recommend that you buy your own. Your rental likely won't come with a new blade. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
