STAY AWAY FROM The Home Depot in Mansfield, TX! If you are a veteran or support veterans, you will be targeted for abuse. I have been a loyal customer of Home Depot for more than 20 years. Additionally, I am married to a disabled veteran who has worked diligently to manage the effects of PTSD and re-engage with public spaces. A significant milestone for her was the ability to occasionally visit stores independently. Today, she visited the Home Depot in Mansfield, TX, where she purchased several items at the self-checkout. Anyone familiar with Home Depot is aware that the exit security sensors can occasionally trigger alarms without cause. As a retail manager, I not only recognize these frequent occurrences but also ensure that my staff is trained to address such situations with customers in a respectful and non-accusatory manner. Unfortunately, an employee at Home Depot approached my wife, demanding to see her receipt, and then made a derogatory remark, stating, "I don't give a f#+* if you come back. You're white so you're probably stealing, you f+#$@!g cracker." Given that she was the sole customer at the self-checkout, the employee should have been aware of the low likelihood of theft. Furthermore, as a store employee, she should have understood the complications that self-checkout can create with security tags. A properly trained retail associate would never confront a customer with such aggression or racial bias. When I reached out to discuss this incident with the "manager on duty," he was unwilling to apologize or provide any form of resolution until I identified myself as a fellow manager, highlighting his lack of respect for customers. His proposed solution was to offer her a discount on her next visit. Why would she ever consider returning to a store that is willing to mistreat its customers? I will not recommend this store to anyone and strongly advise that no veteran patronize this establishment.

Exactly what I needed

I go in quite often as I’m remodeling my house, and there are a few employees I would always come back to get assistance from…other than that, most of the time I can’t find anyone to help me or they don’t talk to me.

Matthew did a great job at the Traeger tent smoking chips and meatballs! He extremely nice and shared some grilling tips. It added a little fun to a routine shopping trip.

The help I received today from JC at this store was above and beyond. Because of him and his help and knowledge I was able to purchase an outside light that needed to be hard wired in. He helped add the plug to this light once he found out I was planning on doing it myself (I am 70 and female). He is and outstanding and very pleasant young man. Thank you

We came here looking to buy a replacement water heater and Jose in plumbing was helpful in setting up the delivery. The delivery was prompt and after struggling all day with trying to install ourselves, we returned to the store and Jose was there again to help us out. He gave recommendations on what we’d need to fix our issue and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing him. Thank you so much for helping us!

It was rather late in the evening and probably the end of many employees shifts but no less than three people greeted me with a smile and asked if they could help me in any way. I didn’t need any help and knew where I was going but it was great to be greeted by genuinely kind people. Shamiya was my cashier and she also greeted me with a smile and was very cheerful and polite. Very nice gal. I wish we had employees like her where I work!!

This store is the worse Home Depot that I shop at compared to another store. a lot of disrespectful associates and well not well trained, lack of knowledge and lack of moral upbringing. Madison and her friend play a lot at behind the customer service desk once you interrupted them, she gets really angry and then speak rudely.

all three work together to help me get the best experience and the right tool for the my purchase and out the door. their names were Madison Joanie and Cole Thank you...

I go to this store once a week and always have an exceptional experience. I love the products, and the customer service. It really makes me happy; to see Home Depot honor military veterans.

Employees will accuse you of lying on returns when they are still sealed in the box.

We're currently in the process of remodeling/renovating our house. Christie that works in Tool Rentals was extremely helpful (regardless of the department we were speaking about). She walked us through the processes and never once acted as we were less than when trying to learn. Great experience and great customer service!

Simply put, LaShuna deserves a raise or high praise for the EXCEPTIONAL work she did for me yesterday!!!

I will preferentially shop at the Mansfield Home Depot over the Home Depot on 360/Sublett in Grand Prairie. The leadership team at Mansfield is top notch versus the 360 store for where all levels of leadership provide absolutely terrible customer service.

An employee named Christian in the Paint department was phenomenal. He had great patience answering all my questions. Helped me find the colors I needed to match existing colors on my home and exemplified what customer service is and should be. Home Depot is lucky to have him and he has made this my favorite home improvement Store to meet my home improvement needs.

I have shopped at many hone improvement stores, but know one beats the customer service at The Home Depot. The great you, assist you, and thank you for choosing them. The associates have always helped me out with ideas, finding items and loading.

Been in there a couple times not one employee tries even help when I went to go check out the lady that's do the stuff on the counter and left it lay in didn't ask if I needed a bag or anything just looked at me

Ok, I came her to praise the employee who helped me purchase my door! He was awesome. So kind and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me about the charges and the process so that I felt like I was making a wise choice and not being scammed. I am not a relative of his nor had I known him prior, he was just very patient, kind, knowledgeable and so very helpful that I had to shout him out!

Shopping is always easy. Employees also provide help when asked.

On 6/25/23 at 2:00 PM, I was standing behind 3 Home Depot worker(awaiting to check out) as the check out light was on, but I didn't know if anyone of the 3 ladies was working the counter. Finally the co worker who was assisting the self check out line, stated"you have an gentlemen waiting to check out". Cashier LaShona got rude and told him"you don' talk to us like that" apparently she got upset w/ him because he call her out for not doing her job(prepared to assist the next customer) then she started with me, the audacity tp tell me what I could of done(went to self c/o line, and I could have said excuse me, w/ sarcasm) told her she don' tell me/customer what to do(then said I was ignorant) & fail to even bag up my items, so I ask to speak to a manager & she got even more sarcasm(as she knew nothing was/is going to happen to her. No professionalism, nor any sort of basic customer service(no greeting, etc.) and even after the sale transaction was over, didn't even bag up my items(just place back in the cart)...Also I'm a veteran, who usually use my Home depot App(for the veteran discount) but have she was acting, I just had her ring up the item, to get the transaction over, ASAP... But as I told the assistant manager, didn't was totally unacceptable and needed to be address...

I went to Home Depot to buy Miracle Grow Garden Soil 4 for 10 dollars. The cashier rang it up as 18.28. I asked her why it did not ring up the way it was advertised. She said," I am really confused and I am new here." I stated that it was supposed to be 4 for 10 dollars and she blew me off. My husband said that I should have called the manager.

I went to Home Depot too. buy 6 bags of topsoil and grass seed. The store is very organized I was in and out in less than thirty minutes.

The staff is always friendly and eager to assist you.

Once again, the professionals at HD Mansfield added a personal touch that made my shopping experience less stressful. I was assisted at checkout without me asking and given advice on how to save money with my purchase. Most appreciated.
