Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Spring Deals event?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that DIY list as the weather brings cheerful sunshine. It's also a great time for organizing your home with the perfect storage, setting up appliances indoors, and doing lawn and garden work outdoors. Don't forget to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get it all done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running from 4/23 through 5/10. Don't miss out on these bargains.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for springtime weather changes by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you might be dealing with damage.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the free Kids Workshop this month?

Head to the Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
