Awesome help in getting a hard to find item. Employee spent twenty minutes walking me through the store. After finding two similar items he walked me right to the specific item I was looking for. Hurray!!!

Associate "young" Dave (Salesperson: DCD5QCZ) did an exceptional job of preparing the order of a new hot water heater and drain pan over the phone while my guests were w/out hot water. Dave communicated well (he gave me his direct phone extension), was knowledgeable, and eager to help me make this the smoothest transaction from a big box store like Home Depot. He honored my 10% military discount and promptly sent me electronically my work order and receipts on the same day of purchase. On the day of the pickup by my plumbing contractor who represented me as I live on the Mainland, "young" Dave pulled the items from the stock room and the purchased items were made readily available for pickup by my plumbing contractor who immediately transferred the items to the condo in Kihei where the plumber was already working. The transaction was smooth and my guests now have hot water. I am blessed to have "young" Dave help me on this transaction which could have been tedious, cumbersome, and a logistical nightmare through a big box store. "Young" Dave took all the anxiety and frustration away. I recommend that if you have a plumbing need, "young" Dave is the go to man in this Home Depot store. Over the phone, he is friendly and courteous. An exceptional employee that made the difference for this customer.

I just want to give a shout out to Philip the tool rental salesman. One of the best employees i have EVER come across. and i go into several different home depots. for me to write this review speaks volumes because i dont waste my time doing this. if you go to the store in Maui. be sure to ask for Philip!!

These people are most helpful and have a positive attitude. I usually find what I'm looking for. The island is difficult sometimes with finding everything that is normally available on the mainland, so I'm grateful for finding most of my hardware and supplies from HD.

Convenient location, prices are as low as on the mainland which is unusual in Hawaii. If you get to know the core long-time staff, they are really great. However, I've had trouble getting a certain special orders in the past.

I can tell that this store is short handed. With that being said the employees that are there now are very hard working. I wish them all happiness and good health. Thank you Home Depot

Most employees are not friendly, especially the ones on the sales floor. They need to be courteous and realize that they have a job because of me (as a customer). The next time I get bad service, I will definitely drop names because that person either needs to change (usually) her attitude or go work elsewhere that they don’t need to work w customers.

I bought three bags of potting soil and the cashier charge me four.Only I realize it after I got home.We live about 45mins from Kahului and.I don't want to waste my gas making this trip again.

Home Depot is my go-to place for all my DIY projects, home improvement projects, or just to browse and get ideas for my next project. Great selection and great prices you can't beat that, and don't forget employees that are friendly, knowledgeable and ready to help

Home Depot is my favorite to shop at. However, There should be more employees to service customers. Employees seems stressful. because lack of help and no relax time to smile and to greet the customers. It's my favorite store, because I familiarize myself with the store and practically know where everything is, but when I need help I don't want to walk all over the store to get some help.

Staff is always welcoming and helpful. They always go out of their way to help or answer any questions you may have.
