Burst pipes and sump pumps
I got a message from City Works about a probable leak in our plumbing. The City estimates 31,000 gallons was used. I figured it at 8900 gallons because that is the footprint of my home. I needed a sump pump and home Depot had one that fit my use and cost range. Wayne pumps work very well. The City said there is a lot of similar problems right now.

Well Stocked, Staffed and Organized!
Recently visited the N Carson City store because the HD app said they had in stock the items I was seeking. I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the store, its inventory and the pleasant folks working there. Bought everything I needed and had great help from kind folks throughout the visit. Told my spouse, "That's the nicest HD I've ever been in!"

Kid's Clinic is superb!
I have been doing Kid's Clinics (and the competitor's version) since my nearly 30 yo niece was a toddler. The set up at this H.D. is awesome from pallets of (mdf?) wood sheets so we have a hard "table" to pound on (versus the old days of tables that gave or sitting on the concrete floor) to the overturned buckets to use as seats to having a wide variety of paints, to the sturdy plate ( or box) to take not quite dry project home in the car to the snacks for the littles to the employees when we check out (or just past through check out, if we didn't also shop that day) always wanting to check out and compliment the kid's project.

Wonderful customer service!
