I was very happy with my shopping experience at the Rhode Island Home Depot. The customer service was above and beyond.

Everyone was nice and attentive.

I bought before this time and the service is good

This store is maintained very dirty around the store and in front. Oddly Enough the toilets are cleaner. The staff will frown upon you if you ask questions and no one is in their particular departments do even if paged they don’t show up. Oh and the ladies in the paint department will just roll their eyes and laugh behind you like you don’t know it even if you ask a simple question as a novice.

I would like to commend Gerry for his professionalism. He went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me in getting my freezer today which was stacked high up on aisle 9 bay 1 behind a pole. I drove from Anne Arundel Co.to the DC where he greeted me..Please commend this gentleman for his service.

Store was clean , got help in the department I was trying to purchase an item, got info of how to purchase on line the item that was not in the store at the time, very helpful printed out a paper for on line purchase for me get my item. Thxs

I will still recommend this store because no other similar store in our neighborhood (Washington DC, 20002). However, one Friday afternoon, my husband and I received very bad customer experience at the flooring department. The person who was initially attending us had minimal knowledge about the flooring products, did not have sufficient people's skill to have a smooth two-way communication, and the next person helping us was very occupied with other task/order she did not even conclude our interaction. Other two people sitting around the flooring department did not care at all about our existence in the location with flooring sample in our hands and clearly looking for help. It was such a bad experience!

I have shopped at so many Home Depot stores; but the one on 901 Rhode Island Avenue in Washington DC takes the prize. It it very neat and well kept. One of the staff - Chanty (I found out later that she is one of the Managers) was walking around picking up items and putting them where they should be, straightening up shelves. That was why I asked who she was cos I am not used to seeing that in many Home Depot stores. The garden section is my favorite cos I LOVE to plant so I always make a beeline to that section when I am at Home Depot; the garden section is so well maintained, the plants were well watered and fresh looking. In some stores plants are thirsty looking and wilting. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you to Chanty and her team.

The assistant managers Jerry and Corey were extremely helpful in getting my problem solved.

Never really have a problem I go in and get what I need and go out everybody usually seems pretty friendly.

Fairly decent experience. I don't typically go to this Home Depot since it seems a little dirtier that the main Home Depot that I go to.

This is the first time I've visited this store.I normally shop at the Home Depot stores in Maryland because they are closer to my home.I came to this store because their inventory showed they had the items I was looking for (Ryobi 2-Pk 18-Volt Batteries and Ryobi 3/8 18-Volt Ratchet) The shelves were empty because I chose to come to the store at 7:30 PM on a Saturday evening (won't do that again) but this very helpful employee name Ryan in the Tools Dept. located the items on the overhead racks and called for a forklift to retrieve the items down for me. Great employees at this store and I'll be shopping here again in the future. I remember this employees name because my son's name is Ryan. Thanks again Ryan for the great service.

Big shout out to HomeDepot representative (Julius). This individual assisted me in loading my vehicle proactively. Furthermore, he appeared genuinely elated to do so. This is not my experience with HomeDepot in the past and was quite refreshing. I felt more optomistic about the task ahead this day

Maybe I should have visited this store at an earlier time, because their covid precautions were lacking when i went, at 2:30pm on a weekday. They didnt have any hand sanitizer nor sanitizing wipes available. And those are required at the self-check-out machines alone since their machines aren't like normal ones. Their's had a hand-held scanner, so I had to wait until I got home to wash my hands.

The associates were next-level helpful and patient. Was in the store 3x over 24 hours in different departments and every time they were above and beyond expectations.

This location is the WORST. Combine un-attentive staff who are rude with the loiter-fest that is the creepy parking lot. You can't make it down the aisles here because promo displays are everywhere. Then you get accosted by aggressive "day-laborer's/pan-handlers/gypsy's?" when you try to load your car. You nearly run into them when you pull in the lot, then they swarm you when you come out. Not a pleasant experience. I'd give it no stars if I could.

I needed to replace the garage vent for my home. When I went to the Home Depot website to search for the correct vent, I found the correct size and color. I was surprised that the website directed me to the exact isle in the store that the item could be found. I followed the instructions on the website and the item was in the exact isle that was stated. I was very pleased.

I’ve visited this Home Depot a few times and each time there’s been a issue. It’s clear the employees can use customer service training. I recently purchased a dryer and paid for them to haul the old dryer away. The delivery men stated that it didn’t show haul away on their website invoice. Home Depot didn’t provide me with an itemized receipt, so I wasn’t able to show proof that I paid for the service. To add insult to injury I wasn’t even able to get through on the phone.

Bad customer service. Every time I go in this store the sales associates act as if they don’t want to be bothered.

If you are buying appliances, be sure to find Jackie back in that department. She made my day and my week. I got a great price on the GE kitchen appliance package - though I will have to wait til February for delivery due to Covid-related manufacturing delays. Still, Jackie was a big help and super gracious. She renewed my confidence in Home Depot DC.

Love shopping here at home depot, they always have what I need in stock. The shelves are full to choose from and the employees are friendly provide good customer service and knowledgeable of where every item is located in the store.

This location is great for me because I live in the neighborhood.
