Where a horrendously rude and overweight sales associate will be sure to accuse you of steeling and bark at you on how to perform self check out! If you enjoy being denigrated for absolutely no reason what so ever, be sure to go to North Ave. Home Depot, where miserable employees will project all their insecurities onto you, the customer!

Great customer service

Worst Home Depot experience ever! I returned an item and was given a card to use for store credit. When I tried to purchase an item with that card, it didn’t work. I was told that the card was already used - it was not. I was then told it would be locked for the never 45 minutes so I would have to wait to spend it. No other assistance was offered. I paid and left but now have no way of knowing whether the card will work next time so I may have just lost money on that return. No one was helpful or apologetic. I will likely never shop at this particular Hone Depot again and may switch to Lowe’s entirely.

WE HAVE BEEN TO A FEW HOME DEPOT STORES OVER THE YEARS, BUT WE ALWAYS END UP BACK AT THE NORTH AVENUE STORE BECAUSE THEY SEEM TO HAVE A LARGER SUPPLY OF WHAT WE NEED AND IN STOCK. WE ALWAYS GET SOME ONE TO HELP US, DON'T HAVE TO SEARCH FOR THEM WHEN WE NEED THEM AND THE STORE IS ALWAYS NICELY CLEAN AND TIDY. YOUR ASSOCIATES/EMPLOYEES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL TO US.

While the process was not perfect, Prynce did everything he could to make me feel comfortable throughout the process and while he was working on trying to resolve the issue and later bringing the right person to help resolve it.

CERTAIN ASSOCIATES AREN'T WILLING TO HELP AT ALL

There was plenty of staff available to assist with my needs. The staff was knowledgeable . There was product available for purchase. The restroom was not locked ( no key code needed) it was very clean, no odors ,no paper on the floor, toilets were clean, flushed etc. Soap and paper towels available stocked.

If you need help with choosing & purchasing carpet…. Go see Neil Sterling in the floor department. He is knowledgeable & a real joy to work with to get what you need. He made my visit enjoyable! He’s a keeper Home Depot!!

everyone is always very helpful in this store. The only problem is that they are out of the type of bulbs I need many times.

I shopped in Flower Garden Department, there was a great variety to select from. All personnel I encountered were helpful and professional.

In this store there are truly friendly employees from the time I entered to the time I checked out everyone was so nice and so helpful oh my God I needed a lot of help this particular day and everyone was just so helpful it was unreal

Ron in flooring was and is an absolute disgrace to both customer service and Home Depot. I came in to the store to remodel my home kitchen bathroom flooring window treatments etc 50K+ and after his interaction, no business from me now or ever again. He is a disgrace

A good place to shop, A very good place to get Christmas Trees, Most employees that worked the isles are helpful, 90% of the products I needed were available. I never experienced an associate that was not friendly at this location,

Gina Reed in kitchen and bath went above and beyond to help me resolve a online issue ordering vanity tops for my master bath. She was already very busy, yet took the time to solve a out of the ordinary problem. She was thorough, patient, and a pleasure to deal with the whole way through. I was able to complete the order to my satisfaction because of her assistance.

I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I experienced in reference to my online purchase . I placed an order last night where it indicated that t had nine snow blowers in stock. I placed an order, I received an email stating to wait for a confirmation email when my order was ready. To my disgust, I received an email stating that my order was cancelled because they took the orders first come basis. No where does it state that first come first basis for online purchases!! To say the least their online services are a sham!!

I'm impressed that this store has plenty of seasoned, mature, and experienced associates that can answer questions and give advice based on actual knowledge. This is my favorite Home Depot.

If you are buying an appliance, ask for Ernest. He is incredibly informed and friendly. I would happily buy any appliances through him moving forward.

I'm buying at home depot since open at store number 1912 want to recommend two person at the tile department Alex and Antuon who are a very important assets for the store pleasant and allway help me in all cases

I was shocked to see so many employees not wearing masks on their nose, pulling them off and touching their face. Many customers also were walking around with a mask below the chin or nose. I felt very unsafe.

Really bad service at HD. I place order online for pickup. Next day HD calls to tell me not fully in stock if though website shows in stock and accepts my order. HD response...."oh, you can call multiple stores, speak to multiple employees, and pay some extra fees to fulfill the order you already placed online that we just canceled."

I went to this home depot to have a pipe cut and had to wait at least 40 mins for anyone to help. I went to someone in the paint dept to call someone to plumbing to assist with cutting a pipe. He was gracious enough to call someone, but no one came. After waiting for at least 20 mins and the paint person had left. I walked around the home depot looking for someone to help. Finally, I found someone who I think was the manager. She took her mask off because she didn't like wearing it. Well she walked around without her mask and in everyone's face asking if they were trained to cut the pipe. It sounded like they were short staffed. I would of been more understanding of their short staff issue if the manager Marrie had on her mask when she was speaking with me and everyone else on her staff. In the end, Marrie found no one and ended up doing it herself. PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK - YOU DO NOT KNOW MY HOME SITUATION OR WHO IS VULNERABLE

After having an absolutely TERRIBLE experience at The Lincoln Park Home Depot on North Halsted, I decided to give it ONE MORE SHOT. All i needed today was to find some attractive and affordable new cabinet knobs . Every single associate at the North Avenue location was GENUINELY warm, polite, professional, and INTERESTED in fulfilling my needs, no matter how minor. The DIFFERENCE between the two locations renewed my faith in retail customer service. My cashier, BRIGITTE was the icing on the cake. I left with a smile on my face, and I feel as though I made a new friend. What an ASSET to your team, she is AMAZINGLY Warm, caring, and SINCERE.

Best store in Chicagoland very knowledgeable ProDesk with years of experience provide great info on new products and alternative solutions to fit all building needs. Tomasz my go to pro rep at that store always stays on top of all orders and deliveries I get.

Home depot located on North Ave., is the best HD store. They have an amazing group of people especially at the Pro Desk. Greg, Peter, Thomas, Zibby, Jerry are always on the top of the things. They do take care about customer in very friendly and professional way. Always try to come up with the quickest solution. It doesn't matter if it is request for a quote or placing order, the response is timely and we get orders on time. They also have a big selection of materials.

Such kind workers! Employees went out of their way to help me with a car issue I had while parked in their parking lot. So thoughtful, kind, and helpful. I could not be more grateful!
