Excellent store I recommend this story to everybody

I always have a successful trip to the Home Depot ! I either find what I need on my own or one of the Home Depot associates helps me .

Ordering online for in-store pick-up is useless. They never have it ready when you get there and it takes them longer to get it then it would take you.

I went to this store because I needed a particular nitrogen fertilizer and no other store had it. Boy was I glad I did. I have NEVER, been to any Home Depot store anywhere, and I go to many, (this is not the closest one to me! 13 miles away!) anyway...The garden department young man, Anthony! OMgosh! I have never met a more eager to work and help and so polite and friendly young man. We just don't find many like this young man. And the garden center...impecable. No wandering around to try to find things. Just a joy to shop at #1234 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY Home Depot and I SO APPRECIATE Anthony and I called the store manager to tell her my positive experience...and...I DO NOT WRITE REVIEWS! EVER! I don't like to, but this time...I had to...thats how great it was to shop today and I had 10 bags of fertilizer and 2 bags of topsoil. 460 pounds of product and Anthony loaded it into my car with a smile on his face...happy to do it for me. WOW...a smile! What a great kid. I am just so impressed and its 10;45 pm I am exhaused, did my fertilizer, mowed my lawn, need a shower, I am a 68 yr old lady, tired but HAD TO TAKE TIME TO WRITE THIS. GREAT JOB GUYS! GREAT JOB!

This Home Depot location is just around the corner from where I reside. It's perfect! Although this store location has an extremely busy influx of customers, and sometimes the wait time is a bit long, but that's a great sign! Why? Because the employees give each customer the same undivided attention to their personal situation. High demand yields great results!

8/3/2019 3PM Eileen in Garden Center. This associate went above & beyond to locate a product that inventory showed IN STOCK. was located in a different area, highest shelf in the racks of the garden whse. center. She enlisted another associate to block off the aisles, get someone to use the hi-lift to bring the shrink wrapped pallet down, so i could purchase the 1 lone box of Vigoro no-dig edging to complete my patio extension project. this associate went so far beyond just 'customer service' she was terrific. truly what customer service is all about. too many people gripe & complain, but not noting outstanding service. thank you.

Pluses: The store associates are usually very friendly and helpful. The store is clean. The products are usually easy to find. The store return policy is helpful. Concerns: Sometime ago, we contracted with the Home Depot flooring department to lay some wood flooring and ceramic tile in our kitchen, living room, and bathroom areas. The experience was a nightmare. What was basically a very simple project took about 4 months to complete and was expensive in time, money, and inconvenience. Basically, Home Depot sub-contracted to an outside flooring company who then sub-sub-contracted to a flooring installation company. The arrangement was dysfunctional. I would never get involved with a Home Depot home renovation project again. The customer service provided was quite inadequate. Imagine having your kitchen, living area, and bathroom torn apart and then left that way for 4 months! Home Depot has all of the resources to be able to provide good home renovation services, but to do so effectively requires much more attention to detail and attention and care of the needs of their customers. We felt abandoned during the renovation process.

Poor customer service, had a huge list of stuff, asked for help multiple times, literally was a nightmare. Never enough product or staffing and poor customer service. Couldn't honor a coupon after a terrible visit.

Every time I have some kind of home issue or tool issues and other things I go to Home Depot on Elmwood. I always get help and if they cannot help they will recommend other places that may be able to help. I would recommend the employees of this store on a high level. I give them 10 stars. They are an amazing crew!

Ladonna the cashier went out of her way to help me and was extremely helpful and courteous. The manager Ron always goes the extra mile to make me feel important.

Star and Mikayla displayed excellent customer service skills. They made me and my wife feel welcomed and not cheated. Please continue to keep up the great work at the best Home Depot in Western New York. Thanks

4 of the store's fine and friendly staff - Alex, Josh, Michaela, and Star all teamed up and worked so hard with me for an hour and a half to develop a safe hanging solution for my antique rare art mirror without damaging the wood frame or the glass. It is a very special piece to me and their effort meant the world! They were patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and got the job done. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Five stars. Outstanding service. The last time I was in was last spring when I decided to introduce 16 flowers and plants to beautify my home. The woman in the Garden Center was astonishingly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly and provided me with everything I needed. This experience was just as satisfying. Thank you to your whole team!
