I purchased $285 of items via online. I was on my way home so chose the Plaistow store. I walked up to the customer service desk. An employee saw me. NEVER GREETED ME. No hello. Acted as though I was interrupting her?? Barely spoke to me. But, as soon as a male employee walked up to her, she’s talking and laughing and enjoying herself. What ever happened to “great customer service”?? I work in retail. It’s YOU who makes the customer experience more enjoyable…. if you don’t, the customer will not come back. You lost me as a customer.

The staff at Home Depot is there to help. Never a problem, just sometimes out of stock, but they do their best. I love seeing the young faces of employees who are just learning about the trades and figuring out what all of that “stuff” is used for!!

I’ve been shopping at this HD for years and never have had a problem, mostly good, polite store personnel who can help. I also like the fact that they hire senior citizens and hope that HD pays and benefits them well. Currently, the young girl/lady at the paint counter who expresses herself a bit differently, is excellent, appears to be a little out there, but is excellent and does her job well. Sorry, I don’t know her name.

We needed a fridge and found the same model, similar price, at a couple other large retail stores. We specifically went to Plaistow HD to buy from Maggie because she is honest, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Bill and Barbara helped us so much! Our whole shopping experience was outstanding thanks to them!

We were in need of plumbing supplies and a very nice and professional associate helped us find and purchase what we needed.

People in the customer service area are rude and unwilling to help customers with problems even pro members that shop there all the time

Consistently an exceptional experience. This Home Depot store is a cut above the rest. This past experience having such a welcoming cashier in Debra, reminded me of why I love this store so much.

My interaction with your employee Maggie Lagasse was exceptional. She was courteous, knowledgable, professional, and empathetic. Very pleased with my in store experience.

Twice this week I have in to buy various paint products. The young lady working in paint was unpleasant, rude and inattentive. She was short with myself as well as the customer before and after me.

Being overwhelmed by the size of the store and then the labor intensity the lumber involved. I was extremely pleased of the helpfulness and patience of the service personnel. I am glad this store is near by.

Christ was very helpful getting my product on time and helping me with everything I need.

The two sales associates, Bill & Linda went above and beyond to assist me with an issue that I was having. They offered an alternate solution which solved my issue. Hats off to the both of them for their grateful help. i wouldn't have that level of assistance in the competitor's store. Thanks again.

Aisles were a mess, couldn't get to anything without moving carts of merchandise out of the way, nothing in the right spot on the shelves

Employees are eager to help, always with a smile. Assisting with and loading into my car if it is needed.

everytime I go to the plaistow store I am greeted by friendly workers. this starts in the parking lot where someone is collecting carts or helping someone bring an item to their vehicle. when I have to return an item the associate processing the item is friendly and the process is always quick and easy. when shopping associates always ask if I need help. Overall, I think the helpfullness and friendliness of the workers is the strongest point of this store.

Hello! My name is Kris. I am very excited to write this review because I must share with you one of my best experiences I have had, to date, most recently when I made my way over to my favorite Home Depot store located in Plaistow NH. I am an avid crafter for many years and I have always bought Triple Thick Clear Gloss Spray from this Home Depot. I always like to brag and say that this Home Depot is my “One-Stop-Shop” because I always arrive early and I am on a mission. I enjoy walking into this Home Depot because the employees look at you in the eye and say Good Morning to you. They make sure you are recognized. This is a great security measure as well speaking from someone who has been in Retail working for a few banks for over 25 years. The inventory also at this location has always been plentiful for the items I have an interest in making my shopping experience Short, Sweet, Simple ‘n Easy Breezy and Hassle Free. On the early morning of November 16th, 2022 I entered my favorite Home Depot location and I headed over to the paint department. I walked right over to the correct area to find my spray, but much to my surprise this time I found myself staring up and down the shelves and walking up and down the isle a few times staring at the paint shelves and I did not see what I was looking for. I didn’t want to leave until I asked an employee. I didn’t want to start driving around multiple locations. I enjoy shopping in Plaistow NH. I noticed an employee at the paint counter who was busy assisting another customer. I stood there quietly & patiently “he looked up right away” waiting for him to finish, but that didn’t stop him from asking me if there was anything he could help me find. I replied, I am not in a hurry, but that would be much appreciated when you are available. He asked about the item I was looking for and I told him. He kindly told me where to look. I told him honestly I did look there but I’ll go back and check again. He says OK I’ll be there to help you look within a minute or two. He says I know we have some. I said, “I hope you’re right.” He came over and was there helping me look for the spray after what felt like about 10 minutes another employee appeared and started to assist this gentleman. She proceeded to search on her Home Depot device checking the inventory while this gentleman was, by this time, on his knees looking behind many paint cans! I chuckled and said, “ I’m making you work hard this morning aren’t I?” He was persistent and the woman employee was also persistent. Mike & Noelle were not giving up they were determined they would find some. After about 15 mins I could not believe it they located a few cans for me behind other paint cans! They got pushed very far in the back on one of the lower shelves! Mike had to use a long hook type object to grab them towards to front one by one while still on his knees! I was so happy when they found a few cans! They were both so amazing! They both went over and beyond to look high and low and they did not give up and just let me leave discouraged. I was so appreciative. It makes a world of difference when companies hire employees who care about their job and the customers they serve. I hope in some way, shape or form that Mike “in the Hawaiian shirt” & Noelle get recognized for their outstanding customer service. They truly exceeded my expectations! I’ve been telling my wonderful experience to my family and friends and they were all impressed to hear of this story. You can be sure I’ll be telling my story for many years to come “it’s the small things that matter most” that make the biggest impact. Kudos to them! Hip Hip Hooray for me!
