Clean Store/Great Staff
I went into this store on the hunt for a specific Halloween item, afraid that it would be sold out due to its popularity. As soon as I walked in, the Halloween section looked full as if they had just set it up, but my item was wiped out on the floor! (I told you they were popular!) Doubtful, I asked a friendly employee to check if it was in stock. Maria helped me with a super positive attitude and friendly smile while making sure I was taken care of. Ethan got my 3 items from the back, and I noticed that I showed them both the wrong sku number after he got them for me. Embarrassed, I let them know that I showed them the wrong sku number, and they gladly helped me get the correct items! These two made my day! Thank you Maria and Ethan for making my Halloween even more special this year!

Amazing Help from Eddie in Plumbing
I came in looking for pieces to connect my new bathroom vanity. Eddie from plumbing was kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He helped me build the pieces I needed and it came out perfect. Will definitely come back here for my plumbing needs.

Great Home Depot
The Pleasanton Home Depot is my first go-to for any home repair or gardening needs. I use their app all the time; so convenient to find an item by aisle and by bay number. And recently I have noticed they have a lot of associates int the store. Someone is always asking if they can help me find something. I really appreciate this store.

It's Home Depot
Home Depot is doing all it can. I am seeing some improvement on service. Has to be tough for them to lock everything up so it doesn't walk out the door. I know it makes it tough on us, but they seem to have stepped up the service.

If you crave a depressing shopping experience
The lighting dept is the worst in the entire state of calif. o stock, a disorganized mess and generally depressing. The entire store is tired and just going through the motions. You can get a nice selection of fruit from the vendors in the parking lot that are non-stop. I would avoid this store at all cost.

Good price. Poor coordination.
I was excited to get needed blinds for a reasonable price and no risk installation. However it fell apart when the sizing people couldn’t get me an appointment in a reasonable time frame. Last day of the sale though called in on first day.

Excellent stores manager
In my last shopping yesterday I got a chance to interact with the store manager Mimi. Such a wonderful and helpful individual. Very considerate, willingly helped beyond her responsibility. Thank you Mimi and Home Depot for great shopping experience. Wonderful products excellent people.

No help at all!
i’ve always had to “help” myself at this store. their is usually nobody from the department that you actually need assistance in. horrible at price matching their own prices that are listed on the shelves or elsewhere. don’t go here if you need even the bare minimum of an associates help let alone advice.

Excellent customer service and knowledgable staff member.
I purchased four kitchen appliances because the sales associate (Brendon or Brandon) was extremely knowledgable and solved my issues. I will go to this Home Depot as my main store in the future thanks to Brendon and the manager.

Helpless in the dark
Bricks and pavers are sold in the darkest corner of the garden dept. in the Plsn. HD
Bring a big lamp if you expect to distinguish between the several colors that these times are sold as at night. And the joke is on the unwary customer: that the Red step stone has no exact match in brick color. You are expected to match the Red stone with the multi-color brick in the dark.

Nice store
Not a bad experience shopping at this store. Unfortunately due to theft, most hand tools and blades are locked behind cases and you need an employee to get it out to buy it.

Great customer service
Alex Kushnir sold me a washer/dryer combo and provided very good customer service during the process. Brendan (other appliance specialist) showed great teamwork to help Alex make the transaction. All in all, both were great.

Great employees, all the time.
This store isn't any different than most. In fact, most places that I frequent like other stores, restaurants, services, etc. are often nice, but nothing that makes me go out of my way to write a review. What really stands out from this Home Depot are the employees- I don't think I've had a single non-positive experience from any of the workers. They're all that great! I'm sure they usually go around answering quick questions, which is perfect for most people- but when you need some interactions for in-depth help, they never fail. Every single time I've worked with the employees here they've been incredibly resourceful, patient and kind. This place is the threshold- it set a very high bar for not just other Home Depot stores, but for any and all customer service experience.

OK product selection, do not go here is you need any assistance.
For a long time Home Depot has too few people staffing the store. Help finding anything or getting anything down is impossible! They used to hire trades people who knew electrical, plumbing, etc. but no more. Now I think they have 2 people at customer service, no one on a register (all self service) and maybe 2 people available to help find or get something down. Go here is you need something and can find it yourself.

One of the worse
This is probably one of the worse HD stores I have visited. No one really cares about helping. All the employees look miserable to be there. They really dont care to help with anything and get upset when you ask for help. One cussed at me in Spanish when I asked for something that needed to be brought down via forklift not knowing I understood it.

My go-to store for appliances, building materials and tools.
From garden supplies, major appliances, building supplies to tools, I am a Home Depot fan. Whether purchasing online or from the Pleasanton store, I’ve experienced great service, prices and wide selections. They also treat veterans well!

Refund Delayed 7 months
I purchased a Samsung Dryer online back in May because our dryer stopped working. I ended up canceling the order the same day because we were able to fix the problem. It is now almost November. I'm still trying to find out where my refund went. It was partially paid via a gift card and via my Amex. I have been given a run around when trying to find out where my gift card refund went. It has been months. I went into the store in Pleasanton, hoping that customer care could assist me. They were rude and stated I was sent an email regarding the refund, and basically, there was nothing they could do. "The original gift card was credited". It was not, I had the egift card number which was showing $0 balance. The cashier checked that in front of me and agreed that it was not refunded anything. The cashier then got on the phone with someone trying to figure out what needed to be done. I had my 2-year-old son with me, and he was getting impatient and started crying very loudly. I asked the gentlemen if it would be okay if I just ran over to the checkout line, made a quick purchase of some candy, and came back. He rudely stated that I needed to stand right there in front of him while he was on the phone. This whole interaction felt like I was inconveniencing that cashier. There was no one else in line behind me.
Finally, after months of running around and calling various departments, a Home Depot resolution specialist determined that the gift card was refunded as "store credit." The gift card I used was for $500. I had been very patient for months at this point. I'm sure if I hadn't made a big fuss about this, my money would have gone down the drain. I've never experienced such terrible customer service. I will never return to Home Depot. If it weren't for the gentlemen whom I luckily got a hold of in the resolutions department, I would still be calling around trying to figure out what happened.

This location is ALWAYS my place to go for seasonal items
Went to Home Depot for some seasonal items. Every time I visit this store and am looking around, an associate asks if I need help, this time it was a manager. I said yes and and told him the item I was after. He knew right where it was in the higher stock AND specifically had an employee get a forklift to get it down just for me. This is why I always go to this Home Depot for my seasonal items. If they have the items in the store, they want to sell them! This is vastly different from what I experience at other Home Depot stores, where employees look at the floor to avoid eye contact and having to answer an questions. Home Depot Pleasanton is what they all should strive to be.
