Compared to other Home Depots, this store has an odd layout, sometimes making it difficult to find products.

Took almost 2 hours to purchase a dozen 2x6 s and a few more items. I live 70 miles away and needed them the next day as help was coming. Then found I was charged for thirteen. Not a fun trip.

Poway Home Depot location is not overly crowded and easy to locate items. The staff are friendly and professional. Great place to get lost in your own thoughts with home improvements and special projects around the backyard…like a nice skate ramp HA!!

Thank you Henry for your assistance durring my visit. However the Electrical Associate provided inaccurate information for another product I purchased. All associates in your store are friendly and kind and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you

We love Cindy in home appliances. She helped us buy our fridge this year, my mom's mother's day fridge two years ago and when our dryer finally goes out we will seek her again.

Robert in Lumber selected the best condition & cut 8 MDF (2'2 X 4' blackboard paint/whiteboard) panels to my dimensions after suggesting I reduce the sizes by 1/16" in case of a tight fit. I am a senior with limited mobility who uses a scooter. Without his help, it would have taken me an hour to lift & select the panels. His work fit my shelving exactly. I am very grateful. I am a frequent shopper at the Poway, CA store who always receives great service.

Went out of his way to make sure I ordered the correct replacement battery for my garage door opener. We ordered it together on his computer right then and there. I received it today 11/17/2025. Works perfectly. Thank you Dan

I go here often. Quality of the employees over the last 3-5 years has greatly improved.

I bought wall double Oven from Home Depot , Poway California. The lady works in this store is not honest person. She said something and did not keep her promise. She charged $100 for measurement and this amount is returned to customer if installer does not need to repair when they come to installing. Installer charges $185 for installing , but her bill still charge $100. Installing dept shows charge $285 and discount $100. It is not per person selling product. She said installing charge $160 and I need to give $100 in advance for measurement . No need to repair and she still charge$100 and installing bill show installer charges $285-$100 discount= $185 that I need to pay. Home depot can not liar with customer. She disagree with the way sell person in Poway Home Depot.

I shop here often for my home and business. The service is stellar and helpful. I actually enjoy shopping here!

I've shopped at this Home Depot for years but felt the need to give a shout out to Niveen in customer services. She was very knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly and helpful. I wanted to order something online as will call with store credit and was turned away by another Home Depot. Niveen took care of it without hesitation and even trained a new employee on the process. Excellent customer service.

Always have what I need

It's less crowded than other Home Depots. I can always find a parking spot. It's not far from other shopping that I frequent. Great store.

We went in knowing exactly what we wanted for our oven and microwave. After waiting for the employee to finish helping another customer, he went with us to write down what we wanted. We went to the computer, he pulled up my info, and within 5 minutes we were out the door with our delivery date set. The fastest I've ever purchased anything in HD

I go to the Poway store whenever I am in the area.

Usually not as busy as the Carmel Mountain store.

The Home Depot had a special event for youngsters on Saturday morning. They provided a Home Depot apron if you did not already have one, and a kit to build either a tool box or a baseball diamond game. You also received a pin for the event to put on your apron. Tools and water based paint was provided. The event was well attended and fun. Kids (and some of the parents) were learning how to hammer and screw and follow directions.

Every time I go to Poway Home Depot, I receive excellent customer service. Especially when the employee 'Jay' is there. I have started to seek him out for every visit if he is working. He has such a vast knowledge base and helps whether it is gardening, flooring, electrical, plumbing, facets, lumber, doors, and even paint and stains. Jay seems to know projects inside and out. Such an amazing employee. Jay, Thank you again for the countless times you have helped me. I look forward to your advise next time I come in.

This store is the only one we go to & it is mostly because the customer service here is awesome

I buy many plants and garden items from Home Depot, all seem to thrive in my gardens showing me that they are well taken care of in the store.

I bought electrical and plumbing supplies recently and received an outstanding service from associate Mr Ottis. He’s very courteous, patient and helpful and went out of his way to assist with my purchases. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!!

Home Depot always has what I need and unlike their competitors they never give me a hard time about returning an item!

We went for some lumber, for a couple of small projects we are working on. Everyone was friendly and Dave the manager helped us with our lumber purchase. He was very knowledgeable about what we needed and helped us pick out the right pieces.
