I needed light bulbs and high hats and Marty really was so knowledgeable and willing to help me. I wish all the Home Depot’s had more employees like him.

store light is. poor and not keep very clean

Brandy at returns in Westbury was exceptional! I had an issue and Brandy provided excellent customer service and was able to address all of my needs. Not only was she able to address my concerns but she was so kind and patient. Such characteristics that cannot be taught. More times than we would like to admit, negative comments are left but I would really appreciate if someone in a managerial position can commend and reward Brandy on her dedication to this job. Especially in the unfortunate times that we are living in at this moment, with so many family and friends passing from covid. Despite what Brandy may be facing outside of work she showed up with a smile and demonstrated quality work. You have an amazing person and employee working for your company. Thank you Brandy and keep up the great work. You are appreciated :) After speaking with Brandi I went back to pick up my door. Another employee named Justin had to retrieve the machine for the door. Instead of assisting me or even asking if I needed assistance he proceeded to walk away and take out his phone. It was as if I was translucent. I can say that this put a terrible taste in my mouth. To go to one extreme was very disappointing. I do wish that I could place two separate “overall ratings” for Brandy vs. Justin but unfortunately that is not possible.

Stef W in the plant/tree department went above and beyond. Two other employees inside the store also were most helpful - I am sorry that I didn't get their names! Helpful and Friendly employees deserve a shout out!

We bought something for the house and it's excellent quality.

I HAD THE PLEASURE TO WORK WITH MARIO AND RONALD FROM GARDENING DEPARTMENT. THEY WERE SO HELPFUL AND SO NICE AND POLITE. THEN WHEN I HAD TO PAY I WORKED WITH KELLIE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHAT A PLEASURE. SO HELPFUL, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND NICE. SHE IS AMAZING. THEY MADE IT SO EASY FOR ME TO GET WHAT I NEEDED. I TRULY APPRECIATE ALL THREE OF THEM. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I can easily shop Freeport, Hempstead, or Raceway. The employees here are top notch. Pleasant, attentive, always very helpful.

Easy to find stuff, super friendly employees. Literally taught me what metal studs were and how to hang heavy stuff on the wall. I really appreciated it!

Great store! The cashiers, in particular Orieen, are really nice. The gentleman who cut my wood was also really nice.

There is only one cash only register open on a Saturday morning. No change given back (coins) You are losing your minds thinking people are going to go along with these policies. Smart mouth check out girl giving me her opinions on how people will keep on shopping there, while I am speaking to a supervisor. Fix your checkout policies or I will not be returning. I will spread the word.

Staff were very enthusiastic in helping and very knowledgeable. Was at the store buying paint , bath materials and looking at refrigerators. Overall had a great experience from start to checkout. Thanks to the staff!

This HD is outstanding. Very well organized, very clean, aisles are always clear, very well stocked.

Immaculate store, cannot say anything negative about it. They should use this location to train managers on how things work. I last dealt with Paula in flooring and she is knowledgeable, friendly and patient. She got a chair for my wife from another location so we could be comfortable. We ended up purchasing more because of her professional attitude and undivided attention. A customer service lady Virginia deserves recognition for her great customer service. She looked up a part on the phone for me and held it until my arrival. These things go a long way with consumers. I live closer to the Freeport location but changed my home store to the Raceway location.

Iv'e made several purchases from this Home Depot so I consider myself somewhat a regular customer. I never took the time to write a review but after my last experience I decided to do so. My wife & I are doing a bathroom/basement remodel & went to your store to purchase some items (bathroom vanity, floor tile, etc). We went to the register to purchase & were called by cashier "Monica." When we informed Monica we wanted to purchase items and leave in store for pick-up by another person (contractor), she had no idea how to ring up the order and fortunately (for us) called cashier Virginia to assist. Monica was so lazy and frustrated she literally turned her back to us and Virginia (who was attempting to assist her) and just passed us on to Virginia!! Monica definitely needs more training which would greatly benefit your customers (or taken off the floor altogether!)! Also Tanisha is a great supervisor and employee as well!

It's better than others

I gave 2 stars bc one employee redeemed the wait. The Christmas trees were not great and the wait to have one trimmed and wrapped to be transportted home was atrocious. We went on a the Tuesday evening before Thanksgiving so it was not busy. No wait to pay but then the line for the trees to be prepped was small, we were three people behind in line and waited 25 minutes just to be helped. There were two stations for the trees and two employees but only one was working, the other was on their phone. Then I must have seen 7 employees pass by. Another 3 more go on their phone and finally someone hepled us. Thankfully the night wasn't that cold in the outdoor warehouse. The employee who helped us prep our tree and put it on the roof of our car was kind and gave me the small trimming of the trunk of the tree. It was a redeeming gesture that gave me the incentive back to tip him. I rarely shop at home depot, the trees are a good value and price but next year I might go try another location.

Great team at the curbside pick-up/customer service including Levar & Kyle. Lots of staff around to assist. I was really impressed by the friendliness, professionalism, and pride that the staff took to make my experience at Home Depot an efficient and successful one. The holidays can be a bit crazy and this team really went out of their way to make sure I got what I needed. Happy customer!
