Did you know?

This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot sold to Trex last year. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.

How do I stop cold air from coming in at the bottom of the door?
If you have cold air seeping in under the door, you'll want to fix it to keep your house cozy and prevent higher heating bills. When a house settles unevenly, pieces that once fit snugly can go off-kilter. Gaps can form around the sides of doors or the thresholds may loosen with time. Fill the space with weather stripping or foam tape, and caulk any cracks in the wooden door frame. If you're still feeling drafts around the door, place an insulated fabric door snake along the ground.
What projects can I work on when the weather is cold?
In colder climates, it's challenging to work outdoors. However, it may be an opportune time to clean up your indoor workspaces and house instead. An afternoon cleaning the basement or garage will pay off when spring comes. You won't have to replace lost hand tools because you can find what you've got. Polish up the tools, clean the rest of the house with cleaning supplies, and you'll be ready when the cold moderates and the sun comes out.
How can chainsaws help with tree and yard cleanup?
If you've got wooden pallets and scrap wood sitting unused in a corner, cut them into pieces with a chainsaw in the spring so you can get rid of them or store the wood for later use. Spring is a good time to organize the pile of firewood and trim any broken branches from trees too. Before firing up your Makita chainsaw, ensure that the chain isn't dull or rusted and that it's been oiled. Then, while wearing the proper safety gear, use the chainsaw to cut the wood. Make evenly sized pieces for effective storage.
When are Kids Workshops available at my local Home Depot?
Kids Workshops take place from 9am–noon every first Saturday of the month. Reserve your spot by registering online for our workshops.
How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?
Home Depot gift cards are an excellent choice for any reason or during the holiday season. DIYers know these gift cards are fun to receive and to give. Buy gift cards online at homedepot.com or in our brick-and-mortar stores. If you receive a gift card, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Use our gift cards to shop online or redeem them in-store, all with no additional fees.

What a Mess this is the dirtiest Home Depot Around!
I Recently provided an estimate for the exterior cleaning of this Home Depot in Gig Harbor, Wa. The Property Manager Brighter-Image Told me that there not looking for A Grade Cleaning Companies providing A Grade Quality Results. Rather they only use C Grade Companies to basically get by & it shows. You ever heard that saying you pay for what you get. Looks Great Home Depot!
If you don't have any one to help people load cars, just say so. It's repulsive to have customers wait for 30 minutes. Thank God there were some nice people in the parking lot area to help. My husband has a bad back. Very bad service. No stars. Will not return to store.
      Dirty unsafe store
Garbage on the floors. Miserable store!!
Jim from power tools is awesome
If you are in the market for power tool or cordless tool platforms look for Jim in this department. I believe he is a Navy vet. Super knowledgeable and attentive.

          Very bad service
Bought a dishwasher mid October & finally delivered 11/26. 4 weeks after their original delivery date. What is surprised they forgot to bring the granite brackets. They were supposed to call me to set up a new date, two weeks go by, no phone call, I have to call them. Set up a date, take off work, they don’t show up. Make another date with the delivery time of 1230 to 4 o’clock, 10:15 AM to leave me a message they’re going to be there by 11 AM, so I leave work early and they don’t show up. Their excuse was I didn’t call them back to confirm the earlier time slot. They are voicemail did not tell me to call to confirm. No I’ve taken off work twice I called to get another date for them to fix what they didn’t in the first place and they tell me my 30 days is up to get it taken care of I have to get it taken care of myself. Also they said they’re gonna call you the night before with a timeframe for the next day but they never called once, I have to call them first thing in the morning to see what’s going on. Never again Home Depot. We are parting ways. I can spend my money elsewhere and I will. The entire process was a nightmare. Too much to put into this review.
Once again tried to get my guys in and out with the materials out of pro outlet only to be railroaded by store employees blocking off lanes.
              The worst
Really bad store. Doesn't seem to bad to spend more at a hardware store now
                Terrible Customer Service
It took forever to return 2 small items. There was one customer service person working with at least 12 people in line. Every time I go to the Riverhead store it is a nightmare and takes forever to get something done. I find myself going to Lowe’s across the street instead to not deal with the headache. Your customer service dept needs to be a priority because right now it sucks
                  Rental not open.??????
Went to the store on Thursday. Drove all the way from Sag Harbor only to find out that the door is closed. Asked an employee why they are closed while the store is still opened, and the guy just shrugged his shoulders. Who is in charge of this store? What a joke. Shopping elsewhere.
