Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a spring sale?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings cheerful sunshine. It's also a great time for lawn and garden work outdoors, setting up new appliances indoors, and organizing your home with the perfect storage. Be sure to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running from April 23rd through May 10th. Don't miss out on these bargains.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that could let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a lid that slides on is a great way to exercise listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This fun kids' project is happening on 5/2/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
