Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what's available. You can also call first to confirm a tool's availability, or check out our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your local store. If it's not, try another nearby store or contact our Rental Center associates to learn where that tool is available. Can I rent a tool for a day?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the week, day, or month, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call your Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You're welcome to return the tools early if you finish your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off mud and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, call your rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw blades come with saw rentals?
Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we recommend that you get your own. You probably won't get a sharp saw blade that comes with your rental. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
