Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any Spring Deals in 2026?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including patio furniture, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you'll be ready to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. You can also get a jump on DIY projects and spring cleaning by taking advantage of low prices on tools and storage. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from 4/23 through 5/10, so don't miss it.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Make certain your home is set for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets inside the crevices, you could be in for a headache. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage that can let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from entering your home. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop in May 2026?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a sliding lid is a great way to exercise fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. This fun kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
