Maryanne runs a professional, friendly store where i always feel like a valued and respected customer

The store was very clean and organized. We shop here all the time and it is a very convenient store for anything from plants to tools. I have never had a bad experience with this store and we have shopped here for almost 8 years! The staff is always friendly and we are always greeted into the store.

This store is always clean and neat and usually uncrowded which is nice since I browse when I shop sometimes. The employees are very helpful as well.

Store was well laid out with wide aisles and well stocked inventory. Was able to find a find a replacement for my patio slider screen door which had an odd dimension. The store stocked an adjustable screen door model that other stores did not have which made for a "no problem" installation.

This review is not so much a reflection on the Vista store as it is in Home Depot's customer service and operations when it comes to home delivery. My home delivery was scheduled between 6 am and 8pm. I could not get an approximate time - not even a 4 hour window. I wasted a whole day waiting because the material was bulky and I needed to be there to give unloading instructions. The material was mistakenly put on a semi-tractor-trailer which is not allowed in my neighborhood. The delivery was cancelled without notice. HD said they would re-deliver on a smaller truck. They missed the second delivery date because they repeated their same mistake of loading a semi-tractor-trailer. The third delivery date was rescheduled without notifying me. I had now wasted 36 hours, cancelled doctors appointments, missed little league games all because HD can't schedule a delivery and follow through on it. Furthermore, the Vista store had the order filled by the Oceanside store, and delivered by a 3rd party delivery service and none of the three parties could effectively communicate with the other two. The worst delivery experience I have ever had, and it's not over yet. As I'm writing this it's late in the day and it looks like I'll be missing a 4th delivery

Love this store. Christina in the garden department is very sweet and helpful! Great selection and knowledgeable employees!

Love this Home Depot. It is never super busy and the customer service is the best. Always seek out Brittany for help. She truly cares about the customer.

We always go to this store even though there are competitors closer to us, and even a couple of other Home Depot's closer to us. Always well stocked and the store personnel are always very friendly and helpful.

This is my favorite Home Depot location, even though the Encinitas store is a little closer I prefer the friendly & helpful employees at this location much better.

The first Home Depot I've visited with adequate staff!

I appreciate all the helpful employees here Michael in carpeting was very helpful this weekend. Sherri at customer service was also helpful. The only thing I have to complain about is the excessive use of product in the aisles getting to the registers. It’s very difficult to maneuver a large flatbed cart around them. No one can pass by either. Please remove some of the product from the center of the aisles. It looks and feels cluttered.

Once I discovered this specific Home Depot Store I have not shopped at any other. It is the cleanest and friendliest location I've ever shopped at.

I don't mind going back for a newly needed repair part. The Home Depot is always a good time. Sometimes it's nice to just get a break from the repair job to go back and get a part that comes up as you get deeper into the job. I usually have a moment of quiet and a Coke!

This is what the in-store shopping experience should always be! Helpful staff available to answer questions at every turn. Clean, well organized space. Fellow customers are also easy to shop with. If you need help in appliances, ask for a young lady names Citlali Hernandez - she facilitated a major appliance purchase in under 30 minutes with just a few requirements from me.

Ted in Building Materials was such an amazing help as I was trying to gather wood for my project. He helped me walk through my design, choose wood, and cut my wood too! Not only did he help in getting materials, he encouraged me that I could do my project! I will be back to this Home Depot because of Ted. Thanks Ted!

Had a great experience for the very first time yesterday (in the lawn area specifically) after many negative visits at this Vista store. Keep up the good work. The issue is consistency. Hire better, demand better from your associates! The service is spotty with bad attitudes at times due to poor training of associates. But it can be overcome. You must have strong leadership who take their jobs seriously and drill down and demand great customer service.
