As a PRO Xtra customer, I’ve had a great experience with the Home Depot team in Waterloo, IA. The manager, Chad, and the rest of the staff have been extremely supportive and professional. Their assistance has made a big difference—not just for me, but also for my manager and maintenance staff. Without their consistent support, getting our work done efficiently would have been much more difficult. We truly appreciate the outstanding customer service and partnership. Thank you to the entire team!

I could not get my Ryobi string trimmer to close, so I brought it into the store to see if someone could help. The man who helped me was able to get it closed and showed me a way to change out the string next time without opening it.

Bought four custom doors, the sales associate put in the incorrect door panel. Called us back to the store to charge us more for the doors, and then didn’t transfer the information correctly. When I picked it up the door had a big scratch and swing was wrong. Won’t fix the swing even tho everything they did was wrong. Now I have to buy another door if I want a correct swing. Won’t use them ever again!

I looked online for a specific product. Was to dumb to realize that the website didn't automatically take me to my local store. Of course the local store didn't have it in stock. But, Here comes the hero employee. Got the product ordered and sent directly to the jobsite at no delivery fee. I will be doing more business here.

I prefer homedepot over any other home improvement store

This is the first time we were in this store and did not find a checkout lane that was staffed. Only the self checkouts were available. Normally, we are self checkout shoppers but in this case, we needed to add a military discount to our purchase. When we got to that point, the roaming cashier was right there to help us. Seeing how easy it was to be sure to add that military discount, we are looking forward to our next visit.

I was looking to replace my living room carpet. Everything stayed on track from someone coming to measure the room, placing the order, delivery of the product and installation. During the installation process I was kept up to date on when the install would occur and when the team was scheduled to arrive. The crew that installed the floor were very professional and were willing to answer any questions I had. After the floor was installed my living room looked amazing.

I went in the store and the product I was looking for was not in store. The service person was very helpful and helped me create a special order to be delivered to my house.

The floor associate helped us, answered all our questions and looked up products for us, so we could compare products with other atores.

We want to recognize two men that made our experience at Waterloo Iowa's Home Depot very pleasant. They were friendly, very good PR, and worked to get us the information we needed. Keith Young that worked in the paint department and currently being trained in the appliance department. And the other gentleman was Jeff Barkau, who went up and beyond helping us get information on a gas range we were interested in. If all employees in this Home Depot show this type of dedication to service as these two men did, you will be a 5 star store.

All the employees are wonderful and very helpful. They all like their jobs and really make customer service a priority. I wish the same could be said of your website. It needs an overhaul. The descriptions of items from color to size to what is included in certain kits is ambiguous at best. Because of your website I have been placing 90% of my online purchases at other home improvement stores.

Employee help us find the correct oven to meet our neeeds.

The Waterloo store has amazing and kind associates, always helping me, never make me feel dumb for the questions I ask. And I’m pretty sure they’re dumb questions!

Marcus is one of the friendliest employees. He took pride in taking up the the are we were looking for. Marcus is handicapped and always has a smile and loves our two labradors that frequent the store with us. He’s such a good employee!

My experience shopping here has been a wonderful educational experience. The associates in most sections of the store are extremely helpful. Although some lack informational experience with the product in the area they are found, they make it up with kindness, helpful advice, and the ability to ask for and recieve help from other store associates. In short. Amazing store associates. Clean, and pallet free isles to just roam around in awe looking at everything that you dream of having for yourself with very affordable prices and top quality products.

Bottom line I'm loyal with home depot cause they genuinely care

I wasn’t completely surprised when my husband said we had the wrong conversion kit for our new lp dryer. When we bought it the salesman said at first that there wasn’t one listed for it. Then he found a number for it but it was wrong. I saw on the screen yesterday there were a couple of notes saying our dryer would take this kit. We will find out in a few days. So it could have actually been a catalog error or omission.

I just want to give a compliment to Patrick in flooring and tile and the manager Mr. Anderson. Employees like you make people want to shop at the Waterloo Home Depot.
