We were extremely pleased and happy with our refrigerator buying experience. We couldn't have been any happier with all the aspects of buying a major appliance.

Great store and excellent customer service

Everyone in the store is so helpful and go the extra mile to help you figure out what you need if you have questions. The store is clean and well organized to find what you need, and if you are in doubt someone is always looking to help you!

Best customer service I've had in a long time! The minute I walked in the store there was someone there to ask me if they could help me. The gentleman walked me back to the appliance section, showed me some washers and dryers and told me Terry (the employee in that section) would be right with me. Terry was friendly, answered all my questions and walked me through the purchase process. It was so refreshing to actually have someone acknowledge I was there and have knowledge about what they were selling, plus there was no pressure at all!

Pending a call from the store management within 7 days, I'll keep specifics out of review. However my recent experience with purchasing a new appliance there, finding out it was damaged after getting it home, and not being able to get it repaired by either the manufacturer or HD because I apparently live in a "black hole service area" 25 miles away from Waterloo leaves me less than pleased with HD. Two weeks after purchasing and I've not been able to use the purchased appliance.

Every employee always greets us and asks what they can assist us with. Love shopping here compared to other home stores in the area!

Tonight I worked with Chad Anderson on paying for a Carpet order. I was alone with two of my small children. He not only gave me excellent service and help, he also was great with both the kids, in fact after we were finished he walked us back to the break room so he could give both the kids candy. This is the definition of excellent personal and professional service. Thank you!!!

People were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products.

The staff at this store are friendly, always asking if I need help finding anything, as well as able to provide great technical advice on how to complete home improvement projects from tiling to plumbing and electrical. My daughter loves this store and the staff are always incredibly kid-friendly. I drive past 2 other big box home improvement stores to travel to this Home Depot store specifically for no other reason than I know I can always quickly find a staff member to answer any questions I have. The products are great, but many stores carry equally good products. It's the people who make the difference and the staff at this store get it.

It is a little way to get to my Home Depot but I have found that Home Depot often has what I need when other similar stores do not have it available.

The employees have very good customer skills. From the moment you walk into the store you are greeted with a warm hello and asked if they can help you.

We have been to the Waterloo store several times looking at appliances and researching brands. Different staff has helped us each time and everyone in this department has been exceptional and helpful. Great variety of appliances to meet anyone 's budget.

Even though menards does an 11percent discount, I always feel more comfortable shopping at home depot. As a disabled vet I get the 10 percent discount anyway. Checkout is usually quicker. They always have everything I'm looking for !

The store was neat and clean a easily found what we were looking for. Cashiers very friendly and assisted in checking out in a timely matter.

Was greeted at the door and asked if I needed help finding something which I did. Very helpful and store was need and clean. Gentlemen at checkout counter was friendly and quick.

Yesterday, I had a simple return to make at a competitors store ... customer service sent me to the contractors desk who sent me to the front office who then sent me back to customer service. It took almost an hour, a mile or so of crisscrossing the store back and forth and five or six people to discuss the procedure. Today, I had a simple return to make at the Waterloo, Ia Home Depot store... it took one person less than five minutes to take care of it!!!!!!!!!!!! Before I did that, I swung by the paint department told them what I needed and they had it ready and sitting at the check out counter ready to go when I was done at customer service! Everyone at our Home Depot always makes you feel like their favorite customer!

I always feel like I am going to get the help I need in this store. We are excited to get our new kitchen soon.

Pam is always so helpful! I am always glad to see her at the Waterloo store. Today, she went above and beyond by bringing my lumber cart and other purchases across the lot to my car, after I went to get the car parked at the other end! She caught up to me in the lot with it which was a cool surprise and so helpful! She knew I was short on time and thanks to that effort, I made my next deadline!

I'm an amateur, building and garage/mancave. I'm not a carpenter but with help from family and friends I am nearly finished with the project which I started about a year ago. I have purchased quite a bit a stuff from Home Depot including most of the OSB board, all the shingles and insulation and, of course, nails, screws and some tools. I found the staff at W'loo Home Depot to be very helpful. I'll even drop a name...Heather...very helpful and friendly. Also the guys that help load lumber, etc. Very helpful. The only negative, we purchased a stove and microwave for our kitchen remodel. The guys that delivered it installed the power cord. After about a year, the stove quit working. Our local electrician discovered the nuts on power cord hadn't been properly tightened and one of the wires burned off.

Most of my purchases here have been related to paint and paint equipment... Everyone in the Paint department are knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly... And though i do shop at other home improvement stores, I automatically go to Home Depot if I have a paint project! They carry quality products (Behr paint and Graco equipment) that always do a great job.

We shopped for flowers and had a most favorable experience with Scott! Will always return hoping to have Scott's assistance as he was knowledgeable, respectful of our time limitations and very kind. WHAT great customer service!
