Dave and Tibbs are top-notch when it comes to assisting customers all around the store. They make you feel welcome and confident you're getting the right tools for your home project.

Great store

I am a regular customer at the Watertown store. employees have been very helpful overall. Today was exceptionally good. There were employees in plumbing and power equipment who were very helpful. Plumbing scotsman( i think that was his accent!) retrieved items from stock when not enough in the bins. Cashier (Dorkas?) talked me into a new credit card and saved me money. and I won a wireless speaker for the process.. It was a sunday night, so not too busy and everyone in good spirits. Only gave a 4 cuz it's sometimes impossible to find things, or people to help find things - Tonight was great. a very good start to the week. Thanks to all.

The store has an excellent, friendly, helpful and diverse staff and is managed superbly. Kudos to this Watertown store! The positive and inclusive store culture makes me feel great about shopping here for home-related supplies.

great store and experiences

Store is always clean and busy but I never have to wait before I'm helped

Our family has been customers since the store opened. This location has a great selection of products and brands at reasonable prices and great sales, that we do all our home improvement shopping for our home and rental properties. Whenever we have questions about certain product options; the associates there have always been helpful. Just a few years ago, we took advantage of their home improvement service and we are very pleased with the workmanship and pricing for replacement of storm gutters performed on our home. I rarely have time to provide online feedback like this, but our recent visit during the Labor Day sales period just reminded me how great their associates are in helping every customer regardless of how busy things become when everyone has a project that is important to them and are in a rush to get things done fast. Kudos to Home Depot Watertown MA associates!

i would recommend home depot in Watertown to my friends and family

I made a mistake on this review. The Waltham Home Depot was great. The employee, Frank, in the Watertown garden center was very unhelpful. He was playing with his telephone in the cashier's box. I was looking for a plant on sale. He said he didn't offer to assist, claimed no knowledge of the plant's whereabouts. The plants on sale were actually located in the cordoned area in the parking lot. Frank did not know this. I always have a bad experience with the personnel at the Watertown store. I prefer Waltham's Home Depot. Staff and service are superior. If I had my way, Frank should be summarily fired.

Wow, the cashier I had (Francisco) was helpful, polite and genuine. I am afraid that is an uncommon retail experience.

Walked to store 2 days in a row being told they had what I need in stalk. I am a disabled vet and walk for the extra savings with my limited income. Wasted my time trying to call them on phone. wasted time walking there. Then i was lied to by someone saying they could not order more out of stalk item and I would need to order online. I dont have a credit card. The internet told me they where in stalk. Then A employ told me it will definitely be in stalk the next day. Call store wait on the line 10 mins or so give up walk to store out of stalk and lied to. Wish there was another HD walking distance from me.

the store and frond end was friendly, cashier are nice help my save money with open a credit card Mayra was nice,friendly,helpful, smile all the time I will comen back to home depot in watertown .because they have a really nice people Reynaldo in flooring was friendly and he make me felt especial.

Everyone who visits a Home Depot has a favorite store. Here in the North East we are fortunate to have several stores within reasonable driving distance. One, South Bay if I'm heading south, another Waltham when I'm at Costco in Waltham, but my most favorite is the Watertown Home Depot on Arsenal Street. Something about the layout, the size, but mostly the sales people, cashiers and service desk folks have never let me down. Today we visited the electric department looking for fixtures for our newly renovated Brookline condo. Where to begin? When a friendly sales person approached us offering help. That's right! he offered to help, not to sell us a heating system or new replacement windows, just "can I help you?" Eventually , with his expert help, we bought 4 fixtures and replacement bulbs. We loved the store's selection in our price range, and the sales person's knowledge helping us fit the fixture to our needs and most of all, supplying us with REPLACEMENT BULBS so we know what to buy when the time comes. Parking was easy, finding our way around was easy, our sales person was great, and the cashier was helpful and pleasant when our new credit card needed to be re-entered. Great retail experience!

08-16-17: The employees working in the outside back garden area: Nancy and Maurice, we so helpful to me this morning. I needed 6 bag of lawn soil quickly and Nancy solicited Maurice to help me get the product and put in the car. Very nicely done.

The salesperson Frank was knowledgeable and friendly! We came to buy a fridge, and left with a better fridge than we planned and added matching microwave and dishwasher for a great price!

Store employees are very nice and friendly.

Generally has a large stock of materials for one stop shopping. Utilitarian quality, fair value for money but not artisanal quality tools and materials. The floor staff are very nice, if not always informed where things are outside their section, but it is always possible to find someone else who knows. They need an in store Starbucks or at least an espresso bar, and a fine tools section. A selection of antique tools of good quality that work well would be wonderful.
