Q:Please take a moment to re-read my previous question, in brief: What is the inside diameter of the flexible hose that drains the dishwasher. It must be less than 1 inch. NOT the 1-1/2" sink drain!

Engineered to be difficult to install
For some reason the people that designed this dishwasher decided it would be best to put the supply for the hot water pointing down to the floor. I have been to the hardware store 3 times now. Called customer support twice. I can not get the fittings short enough to bend 90 degrees without hitting the floor. The connection for the water coming in is so low to the floor. Not to mention they have their own stupid plug you have to buy to plug it in. Jump off a bridge bosch. Last bosch product I buy

Absolutely amazing dishwasher.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been holding out for a Bosch dishwasher due to their reputation. I was pleasantly surprised when I found one that had been a special order by someone who did not pick it up at a local home-improvement store. Exactly what I was after, 18 inch due to my small kitchen with narrow cabinets. Installation was a breeze. I did it all myself.
I've been using this dishwasher about three weeks now and I'm amazed how clean it gets dishes, pots and pans, etc. Never would've guessed it, even cleaner than my own hand washing. Simple to use, straightforward. The inside design of the baskets is perfect. Couldn't ask for a better product.

18” nice but weird capacity configuration
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still figuring out this dishwasher. I love the idea of it and it's very quiet - like you can barely hear it's running. The capacity is great for a couple of people, or if you run it after just a days' worth of dishes.
The issue I have is the configuration of the internal rungs and baskets. My dinner plates are 11" wide snd my glasses are 6" high. Both fairly standard measurements. But I can't get it configured to use the third top flatware tray because there's not enough height between the top basket and the dinner plates in the bottom main basket for the middle sprayer to rotate. I spent 40
frustrating minutes reading the manual and trying different configs and couldn't figure it out. So I pulled the top tray and stored it away. I don't have time/patience to neatly place each utensil in the provide slots anyway.
I've yet to dig deep into the different cycles as I pre-rinse items. I did nite that plastic storage containers with oily items don't come clean on the normal cycle. Since I usual wash my good cookware and frequently used items by hand I just give the oily plastic a swipe with my soapy dishrag before I load them.
And yes - the extra cabinet space I gained for the drawers to the right is totally worth it.
Note that there is always water inside after I run it on a normal cycle. I know I could run it longer by for the sake of conserving power I'm fine opening it and letting items air dry the rest of the way.

Great size for our smaller kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While we wish we could get the full-size 800 with Crystal Dry, it would take too much space in our small kitchen. This 300 series has been a great alternative. It hold enough dishes we only need to run it every other day, so we are saving money on water and pods. The Auto mode works great at getting dishes clean (much better than hand washing) and it has been so quiet (as long as things don't touch and clank together) that we run it at night.
On thing to be aware is this is also ADA compliant, so we used 2x4s and plywood under it to bring it up 3 inches to regular countertop height to reduce bending over so far when loading and unloading.

Quiet little dishwasher. It’s a bit of a pain to connect to older plumbing, but we figured it out. We had to get other parts (not just the packet of connectors it recommends). It does pretty good. It doesn’t dry very well even with JetDry though.
