500 Series 24 in. 4 cu. ft. 240-Volt White with Silver Accents Electric Ventless Compact Dryer, ENERGY STAR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer has been working really well over the past year. For a condensating dryer the clothes come out nice and dry. I feel the overall design is thorough and I'm confident the unit will last a long time with the correct maintenance. I also appreciate the smaller than average size. Thus far I found only one real flaw and that is the lip that holds the heat exchanger cover in place. It broke off after only a couple of opening and closing for cleaning. The lid stays closed without the lip, so I haven't filed a complaint about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this, along with the matching Washer, installed for about 8 weeks now. We have been very please with the performance. We installed them in a bathroom and they fit perfectly, not taking up too much room. It took a bit of time to get used to how long certain items take to dry but once we got used to it we've had no complaints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite drying cycles on my 500 series are Perm P Damp (0:39), Perm P Dry (0:50), and Perm Press Extra Dry (0:55). The moisture sensor works so well that each cycle ends up finishing significantly sooner and closet-ready -- every load. I've been a Bosch owner since 2011, the days of the US-model Axxis compact vented electric dryer. After 8 happy years with that model, l learned about the benefits and practicality of condensation dryer technology. That made my 2019 purchase of the 500 Series easy. Bosch's reputation over the other Euro brands in the US was an added bonus. No venting, quicker drying times, and few wrinkles. I made the correct choice. And taking monthly care of my 500 will continue to take care of my needs, and for that I say thank you Bosch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is really top of the line. It dries really well, and my clothes always come out fluffy and nice. What is unique about this dryer as well is that it does not require venting, which is handy! It is also energy efficient.

After having full size washer/dryers for many years, I was a little worried about buying a compact washer/dryer set (because of smaller capacity). I was also really concerned about the ventless dryer because I had never had one before. I live in a warm and humid climate (Florida), so I was concerned that the ventless dryer might emit a lot of heat and humidity inside my small condo. I'm happy to say that I love both the Bosch 500 washer and ventless dryer. Exceeded my expectations. The washer capacity is fine – smaller than full size but definitely adequate. The dryer is very efficient. The drying time is much faster than what I had heard about ventless dryers and the clothes come out perfectly dry and not wrinkled. The dryer emits very little hot air and dampness, so I am especially thrilled about that. And they both operate very quietly, so if you like in an apartment building or condo, you don't have to worry about noise disturbing your neighbors. The cycle times are longer than traditional washer/dryers, but not that much longer. I really don't even notice because I set it to run and forget about it. Oh, and the stackable compact units gave me lots of new extra space in my laundry room, which is great, too. I would highly recommend the Bosch 500 series washer and ventless dryer to anyone that needs a laundry configuration in a small space, requires ventless technology, and is looking for quiet operation. A note about ventless dryers in general: don't expect the laundry to come out of the dryer 100% dry like traditional heat dryers. They come out with just a tiny bit of dampness, which is actually better for your clothes (less wrinkles, too) and they finish drying naturally within 5-10 minutes after removal from dryer. They come out dry enough to fold or to wear right away, so it's not an issue at all. It's just that most people are used to heat dryers that fry the clothes with super high heat.

The washer and dryer are excellent in all operational sense. Quiet, energy efficient, excellent washing and drying. Placed in small area stacked. The best thing I ever did. Very happy. Also dryer is 240 volt 3 phase and the washer is 220 single phase this set up uses less power than any 110 volt machines. Cost was high but worth it. Thanks Bosch for your engineering. More than does the job expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Dryer and washer as a combo over 2 years ago. we love the fact it does not need to be vented to the outside. We have had no problems with it. The only minor thing wrong with it in 2 years is a small crack in the window of the door
