I have a Bosch 800series heat pump and a hose was installed into a drain along side the washer drain. My drawer unit still fills up with water and says CARE . Why does it keep filling up with water if there is a hose connected.

Where does this dryer get the water for the steam function? I am looking to replace my old washer and dryer.
